Anyway To Copy A Mail Message To Another Mailbox?

I think the answer to this is a firm No but thought i would throw it out there anyway. On my Mail on my Macbook pro i constantly copy messages from one mailbox to another (i have various mailbox's for different job but sometimes jobs overlap so i need to have some messages in multiple mailbox's) but on the Ipad and Iphone you can only move messages which is no good for me. Other than forwarding a message to myself and then moving it anyone know of a more elegant way to copy a message

Mail Topic - Smart Mailbox Or Other?

iPad does not (yet) have smart mailboxes. Here is my little dilemma. I email myself some office stuff (images and x-rays of my patient cases) to my .mac account so i can look at it at some other time (or be able to show a colleague this subject material). I want to easy-reference it somewhere. To look for a previous email from weeks/months prior is not only a hassle but time consuming. What options do I have? Is there an app for putting transferring, really certain desired emails into a folder/file app?

What Does Your Mailbox Display When You Open The Mail App?

Whenever I open the default Mail iPad app to check my emails, it usually (about 7 out of 10) displays a certain email that I had received a few weeks ago. I don't know why it always chooses to display that specific email is a mystery to me.But, it sometimes displays a different old email as well.Shouldn't it display either the latest email that I've received or the latest email that I had already opened?

On my exchange I got lots of folder where I saved various kind of letters. When I was setting up my Mail on the iPAD , it synced with my Exchange application, on the PC (or Server) and transfered all my MailBox Tree. They are all empty of course. I don"t need most of them on my iPAD, I do know that I can transfer mail from InBox to a specific folder, and it will do the job on my Company server, which is great. But as I mentioned , most of them are old archives. So I'll never transfer anything into these old Folders.
For the life of me, I couldn't find a way to delete them from my iPAD.

I brought a 64Gb IP2 in the US and they set it up for my email account in the store. It's wi-fi only, not 3G (hope that is the right term to use) as I have Iphone4 and didn't see the point of carrying the IP2 around for i'net.Anyway, it worked fine in my house in the UK off my home router (I think it asked me for the password etc for the router when I 1st used it), made a noise when new mail arrived (at least that's what I think it was) - all was well.I work in Oman, so have brought it with me and we have wi-fi in the office and my Ipad picks up internet, yahoo, google, the UK newspapers etc etc and my yahoo mail (but only via the yahoo.com site) + all other i'net sites without problem.However, I tried to send something via pages to my work email account, just experimenting with the whole thing really, but nothing happens. No error message and non delivery.
So, I check my email in settings and also try to reset my mail account in mail, contacts, calendars & after trying to verify it, it comes back with an error message "apple.impa.mail.yahoo.com" is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "incoming Mail Server" field.The primary server of the account is Yahoo!SMTP server and it's switched to on. The outgoing mail server is Yahoo!SMTP Server.This is now the limit of my Ipad logic trail . Can anybody help me set up my yahoo account so it works and also so I can send pages please?

Am having a problem with the e-mail in that when I touch the screen to get the message to scroll, it just closes the e-mail app. Before ios5 I just tap and slide the screen to read the lower part of the message, but now it just closes the app.

When I receive a message on my iPhone via text or iMessage, will it also send a copy to my iPad? If so is there a way to disable this? I see it can be turned off under settings, is there a way to use the service with a different account on the iPad?

I'm new to iPads (but a long-term user of Macs) and have always received my mail via POP servers. I was disappointed to find that checking the 'Sync Email Accounts' box only scyns the account settings, not the messages!
I understand the best way to have synced messages on the iPad and iMac is to move to using an IMAP server, such as gmail.
However, I'd like to copy the many email messages stored on my iMac (Inbox, Drafts & Sent) from Mail on the iMac to Mail on the iPad. Is there any way to do that?
