Anyway to copy a mail message to another mailbox?

I think the answer to this is a firm No but thought i would throw it out there anyway. On my Mail on my Macbook pro i constantly copy messages from one mailbox to another (i have various mailbox's for different job but sometimes jobs overlap so i need to have some messages in multiple mailbox's) but on the Ipad and Iphone you can only move messages which is no good for me. Other than forwarding a message to myself and then moving it......anyone know of a more elegant way to copy a message???

So what's so bad about forwarding it to yourself at the other mailbox's address? Is the objective to get it into multiple mailboxes or to be able to do it exactly the same way you do it on your MBP? Do you assume that an iPad should work exactly like an MBP? Really?!

Nope. I don't 'assume' that my iPad is the same as my MacBook pro...of course not. I'm simply asking if anybody knows another way of doing this. If I forward to myself and then move all the moved messages are from myself and not the actual people who have sent the messages to me in the first place.

One thing you can do is when you forward the message to yourself at the target mailbox, copy the original sender's name or email address into the subject line of the forwarded message. That will at least give you a simple way to quickly identify the original FROM sender. Good luck.
