No Image in Signature?

I've been trying to copy my Mail signature to my iPad Mail app. It includes an image, but doesn't show up in the setting or when I draft an email. Is it not possible to include an image in my iPad signature?

iMac G5, iPhone OS 3.1.3

I'm looking for the same thing. The only "workaround" I've found is to have a picture of the signature in my Photo album. I have to go to the album, select the picture of my signature, and mail that to my recipient FROM THE ALBUM. Then I add the text of my message before the "picture". Very inconvenient! I only go to the trouble for important correspondence. I hope someone's got a real solution or Apple resolves this soon. My colleagues using Blackberry are snickering at my emails!
