I'm new to the iPad. 2 problems I'm consistently encountering, and, it may have to do with being overseas? I am in a WiFi access area but get these 2 messages quite a bit, unlike at home. . "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding" (this seems to happen whenever
I try to open a link or attachment)
2. "No subject" in my inbox list. (Is there really a Message? Why bother to send an 'empty' email?)
cannot open page because the server stopped responding.
View 1 RepliesLast two days my iPad has been Suh-LOOOOO to connect, if at all. Both at home and at work. This morning I tried to connect to about 6 sites and never made it. I'm talking Google, MSN, YouTube, my firm's portal. Really frustrating! I get "Safari can't open because server has stopped responding." Who's server? I have 3G 16G but am only using Wi-Fi at the moment. At home I ended up standing right next to the router and things still wouldn't connect even though my WiFi icon showed max bars. Also, when I finally do get into a site, like Amazon, and move from one page to another, it's very slow; seems to take forever for pages even to re-load. I even made sure I only had 2 pages open in the browser thinking maybe my memory was struggling. I also turned off the location finder. What am I missing? I wanted to use the iPad for a lot of things but this halt in functionality is putting a serious crimp in my plans!

View 2 RepliesOn Ipad2 Safari is not connecting to server. Tried to reboot ipad and it still does not go. The actual message is Safari could not open page because the server stopped responding. Other than doing a total reset and losing everything, what can be done?
View 2 RepliesSince upgrading to v 4.2.1 access via Safari is much slower and regularly stops working altogether 'Cannot open page ..........server stopped responding' Can anything be done ?

Each time I try to open a web page via Safari on my iPad 2, it will slow down suddenly and shows me the message ‘Server not responding. What has to be done for resolving this issue?
View 6 RepliesWhen trying to open Safari on my ipad, it dosn't work and I get the message" cannot open page...because server stopped responding", but facebook works. My imac, Ipod work though. I tried to reboot by pressing the on/off and home button at the same time but that hasn't worked. I tried to erase the cookies and data and that didn't work.
View 1 RepliesInternet access recently "blocked" using Safari on my Apple iPAD Mini. Screen message says Safari cannot load the page because the server not connected.
iOS 6.0.2 ? . The process starts to load but after a period of about 1 to 2mins. the above screen msg appears. Could this be to do with the Settings on my iPAD Mini ? Before this problem occurred it worked to my satisfaction. My iPAD is just over 1year old.

We have an iPad 2 of which is working very well. When I am away in either Spain or Barbados or at my home in Epping I get no problem with Safari responding, but when I am at work I connect into my works WiFi system where I can pick up my company e-mails. The issue that I have is Safari sometimes does not respond and gives the message "Safari could not open the required site as the server is not responding" WiFi signal is no issue. What I have to do is turn off the iPad the re-turn on again and it works. It is an operating system problem or could it just be the area I am in.

View 3 RepliesInteresting thing occurring on my iPad. If I open a new tab in safari or open a link on a page, it goes to the wanted page. But then switches to a graphic saying something about "someone doesn't like you, and you f**ked up" it then goes to a website, either a phone tracking website or something called [URL] This doesn't just happen on one website I visit, it occurs on numerous websites.
So a) is it some sort of virus?
Or b) something else?
And how do I get rid of it?

My Safari won't open in my iPad and says server not responding. Wi Fi shows I am online.
View 1 RepliesI am very unhappy with the iPad, specifically the performance (or lack there of) of Safari. Most pages that are not pure html load slowly or not at all. Usually they require that I stop the load and click the reload to get them to show. Pages that require a login like Facebook won't come up at all. I've confirmed my login on Facebook by logging out and back in on my Mac but with the iPad... nothing but a hang and eventually a note that the 'server stopped responding' (don't think so because I can log in on my Imac).
I cannot down load free apps from the app store and in fact can't get my account info to come up. Again, of the iMac, no problems. I guess the App Store serve could be very busy because of the demand for apps being downloaded for all the new iPads but that does not explain my web access issues.
I am less than happy about this thing.
I pay a game through Facebook but can also access

I get the above message a lot now when on a website, mostly when I try to refresh hotmail.
It is annoying because it always ends up being that one website that stops working for a minute or so, and other websites work, so I know it isnt a problem with the wifi connection.
Whenever I try to open a web page through my iPad 3, Safari keeps saying “Cannot open page as server cannot be found or internet not connected”. How can I resolve this error?
