May 4, 2010I have an idea i'll export it to word and then pages 08 will turn it into a file i can use. I hope they release the next iwork suite by August, i don't want to upgrade when thats right around the corner.

Aug 21, 2011Today I wanted to transfer some files from my iPad 2 to a Windows 7 laptop via iTunes. Both the iTunes and iPad software are up-to-date.I started iTunes on the laptop and plugged in the iPad; in the left column in iTunes, selected the iPad under devices; among the menu choices near the top of the screen, chose Apps. Toward the bottom of the iTunes window, an area appeared called "File Sharing," with a list of apps that "can transfer documents between your iPad and this computer." When I selected GoodReader, I saw all of the documents on the iPad that I expected to see. However, when I selected either Pages or Numbers, I didn't see any of several documents I'd created in each one.Is there anything I need to do within Pages or Numbers to "save" documents and make them visible to iTunes? When finished with each document I've just been returning to the Pages or Numbers document menu, but didn't think I had to do anything to save them per se.

Jun 18, 2010iTunes will not sync Pages of Numbers files via Apps tab, File Sharing, add or drag. Searched threads here, one mentioned SDK beta2 may cause this but haven't installed it. Thought maybe give iWork.com a try. My Apple I.D. or password won't allow login. Same I.D. and pw to get here to post. Strange. Any ideas? Mac Pro 10.6.3, iPad not JB.

Organize Files In My Preferred Order In Pages For IOS?
Mar 27, 2012I know how to organize files in folders and such but how do I rearrange the order of the files? When I add a new document to a folder, it's always updated to be at the beginning of the row. I want files I add to folders to automatically be at the end of the row and descending from that point onwards. And if it isn't in a folder, how do I move files around so they can rearranged in the order I want them to be? I can't figures this out and it really annoys me.

Jun 27, 2014I have seen on other threads that when exporting a Pages poster or brochure as a PDF file, you can pick the level of quality but I do not get that option. I create my document, go to share, send a copy, select pdf and an email window opens up with no option to select quality or resolution. I recently created a poster, the image was fine but the text I inserted came out blurry when I uploaded the file to Facebook.

Apr 21, 2012I have downloaded a couple of albums from iTunes, which have left duplicate dud files. These interrupt playing on the iPad, and can't seem to be deleted. I have gone to the extent of wiping my whole music library off the iPad, but the bunch of un-deletable files are still there. It first happened about 2 weeks ago, with 6 files from one album appearing with an icon on the right hand side - a circle with a square inside. I tried to get rid of them then and couldn't, so I gave up. But this morning, I downloaded another album, and it looks like the all the files off that have been duplicated with similar undeletable files. It's annoying because the music player gets stuck on one of these, it is showing that it's playing, but no sound is produced and the line on the progress bar is stuck at 0:00.
