iTunes not syncing Pages or Numbers files.

iTunes will not sync Pages of Numbers files via Apps tab, File Sharing, add or drag. Searched threads here, one mentioned SDK beta2 may cause this but haven't installed it. Thought maybe give iWork.com a try. My Apple I.D. or password won't allow login. Same I.D. and pw to get here to post. Strange. Any ideas? Mac Pro 10.6.3, iPad not JB.

I'm also not able to sync. In the file sharing section there doesn't seem to be a way to look for files I created on my iPad and get them over to my Macbook. Also not syncing the other way. I can select files from my Mac but when I press sync, the files don't appear on my iPad. I purchased iWorks 9 specifically to be able to share files on my iPad. Sure hope that wasn't a complete waste of $80!

Syncing is not intuitive! But always look in Help...duh.

I'm answering my own question for anyone else searching for this issue. If the doc resides on your iPad, you need to Export it in order for it to sync. Go to My Spreadsheets. Scroll to it, but don't open it. Hit the icon at the bottom that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it, and select Export. When you sync it will now appear. And to get a doc into your iPad, hit the folder icon in the upper right corner. The doc you selected to sync (in iTunes) will be in that folder, ready for you to import.
