I want to find a way to get an alert when a new episode of a podcast I like is issued?

Calendar App Alert - Choose "none" For The Alert, But Then The 10 Minute Alert Always Pops Back On
Mar 20, 2011Whenever I create an event in my calendar, I choose "none" for the alert, but then the 10 minute alert always pops back on. I don't want an alert for some of my events, so why does the 10 minute alert keep coming back?

May 8, 2010It appears that in order to manage my Podcasts, I need to do that from my computer and not from my iPad.
When I delete a Podcast from my iPad unless I've delete it from my laptop, it re-syncs with my iPad. I have the setting set to load all Podcasts from my computer.
The iPad doesn't update Podcasts which means that if I want to travel, I need to bring my laptop in order to have the most recent version of the Podcasts on my iPad. I'm only going to bring 1 device with me and that device will have to be my laptop.
I have subscribed to a video podcast which is in mp4 format and it won't sync with my iPad.

Apr 12, 2011I have a great deal of TV shows in my iTunes library and they all have all of the information such as episode IDs, season numbers and brief summaries of each episode. However when I sync them to my iPad the summaries are not visible as they are with films, is there any way that this can be changed so they are? It would be very useful, I would say there is even space for it in the app.

Feb 7, 2011I have sky fire and I love it, it works on many sites I use. The only thing is I have tv shows on channels from abc to syfy and USA is there any sites that are like hulu I know there is a hulu app but I don't think paying $10 a month is very fare to watch tv shows that are free to watch on tv or hulus pc web site.

Jun 9, 2012I used the iPad iTunes which looks NOTHING like the PC version to download a TV episode. It says I've downloaded it and I can't get iTunes to play it. It just re-downloads it and again doesn't let be watch it. I can only watch the 30 second teaser. Is there only the store part of iTunes?

Nov 29, 2010I've updated my iPad to iOS 4.2.1. I'm getting a new behavior in the iPod/videos function. I have a video podcast with about 20 unwatched episodes. Until I did the upgrade, I would play an episode, it would end and would return to the menu screen. I liked this behavior, but now, under iOS 4.2.1, when the podcast episode ends, it proceeds right into the next one.I get it, some people might like it the way it is now, and that's fine. My deal is, that's obviously a behavior that's controlled via software. That parameter needs to be accessible to users, and it's not.First question: is there a secret handshake that will allow me to control this aspect of podcast playback? If not, what would be the process of engaging the iPod software folks to try to create something where such parameters can be made accessible?

Jun 30, 2010the ipad's crappy wifi connectivity botches the download, and only half of the download had finished when the iPad decided it was enough to only download half of the episode. Considering i paid for the episode in full, I'd like to know how i can receive the rest of my product without paying for it again. Thanks.

Oct 6, 2010I commented on an older thread (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=12379142#12379142) but think that this topic might deserve its own.I am kind of frustrated that I have uploaded two TV series to my iPad and the video player is showing the videos sorted by episode name alphabetically. This is pretty dumb, since I want to watch the episodes in the order they were released and not the arbitrary order of their alphabetical sorting.

Aug 14, 2011I am having difficulties with getting one of my TV Shows to appear in the correct episode order I am syncing a ripped Season of Prison Break, Itunes sees the TV shows in the correct order, Front row lists them in the correct order but when I sync them over to my iPad the series is split in two, episodes 13-22 appear in the correct order but are at the top of the list followed then by episodes 1-12 in the correct order?why it is splitting the series in 2 (this does not happen with ANY of the other series I have)I have tried removing and re-syncing, removing from iTunes and editing the Metadata and re adding but NOTHING works?

Apr 23, 2010So im sure a lot of you have heard about the controversy around the latest south park episode.
Earlier today I went on iTunes to go download the latest episode onto my iPad, one of the two which are under scrutiny. When I went to go download it it said, "this can not be downloaded at this time" so I just tried to download the episode again on my iPad and it appears that comedy central pulled the episode off iTunes cuz it's no longer there!
Anyone by chance happen to get the 6th (200th) episode onto their ipads/iPhones before it was pulled?
