How can I download TV episode from season pass directly to iPad?

I want to download the most recent episode from a season (which I have not previously downloaded to my computer) which I have purchased. Is there a way to download this directly to the iPad?

I tried clicking on the link in the email but it didn't work.

did u buy it in itunes?

If so go to itunes and click on the episode u want to watch

I bought the season pass in iTunes on my computer when the season began. I am now traveling and have the iPad but not the computer. There was a new episode last night and I want to download it directly to my iPad.

I could be wrong, but I don't think iTunes allows video (TV and Movie) downloads directly to the iPhone or iPad. Never tried it myself, but logic would say that AT&T would cry when downloading a 1GB file over their network, and even with WiFi only it would take awhile depending on the connection and WiFi signal (g or n)

I could be mistaken...

You can definitely buy and download TV episodes to the iPad (at least over wifi), I just did it yesterday. My issue is only with season passes, buying a brand new episode works just fine.

I'm having the same issue as well. I've searched under My Account (on the iPad) with no success at locating a section on previous purchases at all.
Is there a way to download these directly to the iPad (via wifi)?

Nope, at present there is no way to download season pass items directly on ipad.

it does.
You can download shows on iPad. It acts nearly exactly as Apple TV.
BUT: you cannot watch it on multiple devices at a time without transferring it.
Same as rentals. You gotta transfer the file from device to device.
The best way is to buy it all on iTunes and then sync what you want. Season passes are tricky - if you don't transfer them, iPad will ask you tu buy again!

It seems you can buy season passes on the iPad, and in the information for them it says new episodes will downloaded when you go into iTunes on the iPad.

I'm not sure about seasons you've not bought on the iPad though.

Hi,

I bought the season pass on my main Mac Pro back at home but am now travelling with the iPad alone (not even bought the laptop with me as a trial this time!) so I want to download the new episodes directly to my iPad while I'm mobile. Definitely doesn't seem to work though which is a bit short-sighted I think.

I am experiencing the same problem, my Mac is in for repairs and I have 3 episodes waiting for me to download them.... I don't think we can download our season pass videos to the iPad first, I haven't found a way yet, although I think this is why apple is going to release iOS 5 so the iPad can be used ALONE (no pc required) so this should probably combat this problem we are facing...

I hope I am right too :) it makes sense, I mean with iOS5 you can even set up your iPad without a Mac/pc... So if they didn't enable this support then they would be ********...
