If you open the popup window within an HTML page 'your fiends' for example in Face Book there is no scroll bar. I've seen this problem since day one when using Safari on the iPad.

I just made a test HTML with a popup window within an HTML. Setting the scrollbar CSS property for a popup window to; default, auto or scroll. Testing each of these settings with Safari on the iPad produced no scrollbar.

I would say there is a problem with Safari on the iPad when it comes to scrollbars. This also happens with a text box with set dimensions to scroll within an HTML. Definitely a bug...

The scrolling behavior has changed on the iPad compared to the iPod Touch..... if you go to this page:

http://www.geocaching.com/map/default.aspx?lat=30.507617&lon=-97.829567

The embedded map can be be panned/scrolled with one finger or enlarged/reduced with two fingers when on the iPod Touch, but on the iPad, it merely enlarges/reduces the whole page. I had the guy who did Atomic Web browser look into it, and he says Apple changed something in the web browser class that causes this to happen, so we are stuck with it.
