How can I convert my home videos shot on a sony handheld camera so I can edit them on my new Ipad using Imovie?

I have loads of home movies that I have shot with my Sony handheld HD video camera and I would really like to transfer them to my Ipad so I can edit them using Imovies. Any suggestions?

You can download a program called RealPlayer. Its free.

Once it is installed, you can drag the video files onto the 'converter' and then click the format you want them to be converted into. Choose Apple format. When they are converted it will ask you if you want to transfer them to your iTunes library. Select 'yes'

They will appear in your iTunes and you can then put them on your iPad!

Hope this helps!!
