Spell Check

Is there a way on iPad to add words to spell check. I routinely type product names that don't fall into the common US dictionary. Of course because these words are close to other words it does correct them to what it thinks is correct. Just wondering if there is a way to add words so these can be caught.

Thanks.

Only found 2 threads on this. I also have a question on this, and it is only partially answered. I understand the whole learning spelled words, works the exact same way as my iPhone. And it works great. Except... What if you have a word that has "No Replacements Found". I have this problem in Pages specifically, as it is where I am trying to obviously use the word.

Even highlighting the word, selecting More..., and either Replace... or Definition... to hopefully trick it into learning the word, does not work. So how do you get the dictionary/spell check to learn a word that has no replacement?

The word in question is Astrosmash. Bonus digital cookie and milk if you have personally experienced it.

As a side note, I find it a little odd that the built-in forum spell checker, doesn't know iPhone evidently. lol

iPad2. The other day, I set the language to German to be able to send a letter in German. Than I thought this is stupid, I should not have to do this and I changed it back to English.

Today I was fooling around with the German again and I noticed that next to the space bar, there is a a world key. I don't know if it was there before, but it now came up with a choice of English or German. I clicked on German and it now highlights errors in German. It does not offer corrections.
