my wi-fi network works but still can't connect to the internet. What can I do?

Is this a new problem? Have you been able to connect to your network before? Do your other devices connect to your Wifi network? Can you connect to another public WiFi network?

If you tried all of the troubleshooting steps - You did reboot your iPad and the router then - correct?

If you are using an Apple device, like airport extreme, you can post on the airport discussion boards. Lots of experts there.

Additional things to try.

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
