Any one know if there is a way to restrict mail app access?

Being that the iPad is new and many people want to demo mine, is there a way to block access to the mail app?

I don't want to have to look over someone's should the whole time they are playing with it, but I don't want them to have access to sensitive work or personal email.

Why can I restrict iTunes but not Mail is beyond me.

I guess restrictions are set up to limit what an iPad can access rather than a particular user can.

Still kinda dumb considering how many people are going to let their friends and family play with their iPad.

Many people have the same complaint when they let their children play games with their iPhones but want to make sure the kids don't accidentally send their boss a gibberish email.

rant over :)

Never understood this, like you say you can restrict tons of things but not Mail which is one of the most sensitive things. Bizarre to say the least!!

Bring on user accounts!!

I don't know that we'll ever see true multi-user capability, but the ability to lock apps (Facebook, LinkedIn, Mail, etc) with a PIN would be nice.

I too can't really let someone take my iPad out of my sight - too much stuff on there.

Suspect that Jobs views an iPad as a personal device, one per each person but this doesn't help families or even lending one out for an hour or two.

User accounts on iPad and iPhone will be troublesome. Right now each App stores it's data within it's own sandbox, so there's no central user directory for files.

Thus, adding multiple users would be harder and require updating how ALL apps store user data.
