Hi,

Is there anyway to display any arrow keys, as well as a Tab key, on the iPad1's built in display keyboard. Typing is a pain w/o any arrow and Tab keys.

If not, is there any software available.

Typing is a pain w/o them.

Thx

These keys don't exist on the iPad's software keyboard. I know that when using a hardware Bluetooth/USB keyboard you can use both off the keys in a limited working way.

Any after market software that replaces the built-in iPad keyboard w/one that has a more functional keyboard, especially one that has the Arrow and Tab keys?

Typing can be a pain on the iPad, because you really can't move around. Granted, you can simply touch the screen at the point where you want to re-type, but generally, if you mis-spell a word, you can't simply move to the individual letter to correct, but instead have to re-type the entire word over again.

Nope. Any jailbreak hacks still use the built-in iPad layout.

You can move to the individual letter. Touch the screen and hold and a small magnifying glass will appear. Continue to hold and move the insertion bar anywhere your want.
