Twitter and Dropbox won't work on my iPad

I have been using Twitter, Dropbox and Evernote apps on my iPhone successfully for month - but neither of the iPad apps will work on my iPad. Cannot login. The apps either say wrong password or system error. Accounts still work on iMac and iPhone so username and passwort are definitely correct. Anybody got an idea?? Love the iPad but it is a shame I cannot use the most valuable apps. thanks

Have you tried the standard resets and restarts?
1) Press and Hold the Home and Wake Sleep buttons until the Apple Logo appears.

2) If that doesn't work, try a reset, To reset go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset.
