O2 SIM card number

O2 SIM card number

I have an O2 3G iPad and to connect to BT openzone I need the number of the SIM card.

Is there a way to get this from the iPad? I now realise I should have made a note of this from the packaging of the SIM card! Thanks.

Two suggestions:

1- Call O2 and give them your SIM serial number
2- Put the SIM inside another device (either iPhone 4 or use a Micro SIM to Mini SIM adapter) and ring other number

There is an entry for what I think is the SIM number in the General item under settings.

I called O2 about something else yesterday on the iPad, they're not really geared up to support it from what I can see. I tried to give them my Card Number, but they insisted on me giving them the telephone number.

Eventualy they blamed the problem on Apple, and then when I called Apple they blamed it on O2 .... very frustrating, so I wish you luck.

Thankfully my problem was down to a weak or bad 3G connection and has since been OK
