No SIM card installed message (SIM in inserted!?)

I've inserted SIM card in my iPad, but it was working for few minutes and than I got message: "No SIM card installed". Two days later I can't even start to use. System don't recognize SIM at all. SIM card is working normaly in my phone or PC.

IF it is any consolation I am also in SA I shipped my Ipad from the UK in Aug for R12000 and my 3G worked for about a month after which it stopped completely. I was hoping thatbthe new IOs4 would solve this but it has not - now I get the no SIM error. This is my second apple product and I am not sure I will buy another. with all my other techie products I do not have a days problems with Apple it never ends!!!!
