Why won't it accept cookies?

In the settings area I have already changed it to always accept cookies. Yet when I go to amazon site and try to login it says I need to enable cookies. I've cleaned out cache, cookies and history. No results. Is this an amazon issue?

iPhone OS 3.1.3, Ipad

Just checked to make sure, amazon working just fine for me.
Recognizes me as logged in to my account.

You have already done what I would have suggested-hopefully someone will have better info for you.

In Settings>Safari check your cookie settings. I think by default this is set to From Visited. Try setting it to Always and restart your iPad by holding Home and Sleep for about 8 seconds.
