iBook purch on iPhone wish to read on iPad

Anyone know if a newly purchased iBook (via iPhone) can be read on my new iPad ? I paid about $12 and was hoping this could be done. The ebook reads and works fine on the iPhone but I dont know how to transfer it to the iPad.

"Yes, you can redownload any book from the iBookstore, as many times as you need, free of charge. To redownload a book, tap Store, then tap Purchases. Find the book you wish to download again and tap Redownload."
