When I took a picture with my iPad 2 (with the latest iOS update), I didn't worry about the orientation of the iPad. When I emailed the picture to my PC with Outlook Express, the picture came through upside-down. So, on my iPad, I went to the photo, Edit, rotated 180 degrees and saved it; then I emailed it again and still got it upside-down.

Can you explain that? If I take the photo wrong orientation, is there no way to flip it on the iPad before emailing it?

the iPad's built in editor, doesn't actually edit the photo, it just changes the way you wish to view the photos on the iPad itself, get an app like Adobe Photoshop Express on your iPad and i think you can flip in there, and it will save it as a new image, with any edits.
