Yes, but it's a little more than that. The squiggly B in white means your Bluetooth device is connected. The long thingy with the wart on the end is a battery meter that shows the power level in the bluetooth device. Very cool, my Plantronics headset has this too. It will turn red when the bluetooth device battery is getting low. Note that It is NOT related to the "100%" icon and the rightmost battery icon which together give you an idea of the battery power on the iPad itself.
