My sister and I both got ipads a month back, but her one keeps freezing. The only way to get it working again is a complete new iTunes restore. This is happening 2-3 times a week, which is irritating as it was synced to my iTunes whilst she was away for uni. Would apple give me a new one? Seems like a problem in my eyes

What app is she using when she gets a lock up? Sounsd more software driven to me than hardware.

Will it not do a restart of holding power button and home button till you get the apple log on restart?

No, its happened to me on several occasions with different things running.

No that does not work at all, the screen has the waiting sign appear in the middle and makes a bell type noise. Nothing does it apart from a full restore.

Usually before it happens, all apps refuse to load.
