Ipad 2: Safari Will Not Play Youtube Videos
Anyone else ever have this problem with there ipad/ipad 2? Sarfari will not play youtube videos on Youtube's mobile site, it just plays the audio only of the video i selected.

son has an ipad mini and for the last year and a half has spent many hours a week watching Minecraft videos on the Youtube app without any problems. About a week ago my son showed me that when trying to play a video via the Youtube app the audio would play fine whereas the video playback is stuttering and completely out of sync with the audio. I thought that it may just be the app so I tried watching a video via safari but it was the same issue. I then thought I would try watching movie trailer from a random website but that wont play smoothly either.

I reset my ipad last night through the option in the settings app. When it was finished everything was reset but some cydia apps and the cydia store were still there. They don't work. Safari doesn't work and youtube videos wont play. if it matters I jailbroke my ipad on 5.1.1 with redsn0w and the rocky raccoon method. I figured I should format it agai using iTunes but iTunes AND redsn0w wot detect my ipad, only my computer sees it.

i have a jail broken iPad 6.0.1. I try to delete all information and all settings to free up some space.But it don't work, it just hang up and i get in to safe mode. Then after that i get stuck in safe mode,so installed evasion from windows and deleted some files in ifiles. Then i get out of safe mode. But now i cant play videos on ipad in safari and youtube app. I can only play video in youtubepro from cydia.
So i must try to restore it again to fix the video problem.So i downloaded 6.0.1 (iPad 2 Wi-Fi): iPad2,1_6.0.1_10A523_Restore.ipsw. Then i sett Ipad in dfu mode and get into Itunes and click on restore and hold down ctrl and choose ipad2.6.0.1++. But it says its not compatible with my iPad? So what must i do to restore to 6.0.1 ? I have Ipad 2 wifi 16 gb with ios 6.0.1 and eveasion jailbreak.

My iPad 2 dont loads YouTube videos, or it's really slow going. I tried many tips from the Internet, but nothing works for a long time. Will it give a update of ios or will I stuck in this sh**?

IPad 2 :: Youtube Videos Won't Play
I used to watch youtube videos everyday on my ipad2, it worked well until a few days ago.
I use the youtube apps, the search function is fine, and I can see thumbnail of the video fine, but when it started to load after a while it said "movie format not supported", and then the screen went black, i have to return to the home screen.
I tried it repeatedly with the same result, i also try to open it through safari /m.youtube, and encounter the same result, it's as if my ipad2 wont play any kind of video at all.
This really confuse me since a few days ago everything was fine, the "movie format" message does appear but very rarely, and if i try to re-load it would play.
I dont have any problem with cellular network, since i could use the internet just fine.
I try using google, but i can't find any solution to this problem.
Play HD Videos On YouTube On IPad 2?
Ever since the new iPad came out, I've had doubts about the iPad 2 (I wish I actually waited for the pre-order, instead of buying the iPad 2 straightaway, nonetheless, I am very happy with it, so I'll stick with it), I know that the iPad 2 is capable of 1080p video output...
But, how about viewing YouTube videos or movies? I've noticed the HD-ness in the iPad 2 or the games that I play (they always boast the HD sign and I do notice the sharp detail). But... do they actually play in HD? In playing YouTube, we can't specifically tell (but we can notice), but is it capable of doing so?

How To Get IPad 3 To Play YouTube Videos
I have selected short YouTube videos to watch and the little flower keeps going around and around forever. I expect instant or at least quick response (at least as fast as my nook tablet) but nothing seems to happen. And yes I am connected to wifi. And I also looked at the wifi section of the manual. I also looked at Hulu plus but it needs flash so won't play.

Is there a reason why some YouTube videos will load and play and some won't? I have several YouTube videos in my favorites but cannot seem to load this one in particular () I hope I'm not breaking any rules by pasting that site But anyway - I would like to put that in my favorites on my ipad2 but it just won't load.

We Have 2 New iPad 3 32Gig 4G's of which neither will play HD YouTube Video's unless your willing to pause and wait 15 minutes for them to load.... This happens even when using the apple iPad App. All lower resolution Vid's are just fine and load as fast as our laptops. Also, no problems with Wi/Fi reception playing Netflix or Hulu+, their beautiful and sharp as a tack...so this doesn't seem to be the Wi/Fi problem being discussed concerning Wi/Fi only models.
I don't think the A5X Processor can Handle HD's heavy Packet loads via You Tube. If that's true then I'm upset!

I was trying to play videos on my iPad 2 on YouTube, but they won't load in desktop mode. I hate the mobile version layout, and I need desktop so I can play videos through AirPlay. When I try to play a video, it says "this video is not available for this device".

I did the re cent update to ios8 on my iPad and since then I can't play videos or you tube. It works fine till I hit play on anything streaming at that point the wifi goes out and won't go back on till I do a hard reboot. Is there a setting I need to change?
