I am, trying to figure out how I can set up a scheme for the contact information to be backed up on the fly, like a write through process where any new data is immediately stored somewhere else. From what I gathered, there used to be MobileMe then iDrive which no longer is in use and Apple is going to roll out iCloud some time in the future, so the users can backup (or maybe load programs) on the fly.
Meanwhile, I stumbled upon an apparent quick solution: syncing contact information to Gmail Contact. I set up an Exchange in Setting's Mail, Calender, Contact (I selected 'fetch'), and it seems to be doing its job, as long as I make sure the "Contacts" Groups of Exchange is selected in iPad.
I also noticed when I delete a contact on my iPad, it is removed from Gmail's My Contacts and placed under "Other Contacts" if it has not been labeled under any other custom group (in Gmail). So all the contacts deleted, removed from the iPad will persist in Gmail's contact groups, whether it is a custom group or Other Contacts group.
Here's a strange thing. I just created 10 entirely random accounts in iPad and watched them synced on Gmail's. When I highlight some of these newly added contacts, I see randomly they got photo avatars assigned to them from my mother's old client's photo (not in the Photos as I checked) which tells me the information might still be stored somewhere on the flash drive/hard drive. Does anyone suggest I do a jailbreak?

Remove ALL Calendar And Contact Information From System
I've been trying to get over the air syncing to work with the iPad and now I've gotten myself to the point where there are no accounts on it (I deleted them all to start over) but all the contact and calendar info is still in there. is there anyway to get all that out short of doing a full restore to factory?on a related note, I'm thinking once I DO have everything back to blank, I'll just add the mobileme account from the iPad to get everything to sync properly. does this sound right? I think I did my initial sync through itunes and then tried to turn it into over-the-air and that didn't seem to work.

Using Outlook 2007 on a PC (Windows 7) together with an iPad and the iPhone. Then throw in the iCloud experience and I'm getting mixed results. It got so bad that I had to call Apple for support for iCloud because of errors that would not allow iCloud to load. They never did solve the problem but it is fixed.
Now if I add a photo to a contact using the iPhone the photo never gets to the iCloud. I make changes to a contact in iCloud and it doesn't appear on the iPhone/iPad. I just made a change to a contact using Outlook and the change did appear in the iPad/iPhone. But I have made changes before this that didn't appear in the iCloud/iPad/iPhone. Might it be better to remove the iCloud from the equation and just sync with Outlook?

Im looking for app that could make and send simple online order form (with html5 localstorage fallback for offline) via email. Just regular input fields thats all.
I've tried campaign monitor, mailchimp but they rely on their own back-end and can't forward the filled forms to our emails. Most of the survey tools are bad as well since they're structured for surveys rather than collecting individual orders (polldaddy for example).
Do I have any other choice than to build form myself and run it in the browser?

I've copied my DVDs to my time capsule and am watching them back through my tv via my ipad. Unfortunately I can't find a way to fill the whole tv screen with the movie, it seems to be restricted to about 2/3 size in the centre of the screen. For some reason when I watch movies I've purchased through iTunes it works fine and uses the whole screen.

Using ipad2 with Safari. On my home computer, I use roboform, where it runs on my computer without sending anything to the cloud. That is, not roboform everywhere. I am looking for an app that will list my sites and when I click it have safari go to the site and fill in the Id and password. Or if I can just have safari go to the site, I want to employ a password manager right there where I just call it, enter a master password, and have it fill in the correct ID and password.
