I think it is a crash, it suddenly goes black and takes me to the desktop. This was occurring this morning as I was browsing Apple.com's HTML5 showcase page. I've done a restore without effect, and am doing another now. Also I seem to have to 'click' on links several times, before they are submitted.Mac Pros; MacBook Pros Powermacs and others (680x0->Intels))Mac OS X (10.6.3)Mac User since 1984; Iv never had to use Windows :-Q
I have been having crashing problems the last 2 weeks when I am on safari, I am having some sites crash and I end up at my home screen. I have been using other app's for some time without crashing, now like safari, a few of those are crashing also, always back to home screen.I have not backed up since April, but do update my app's, and I also have not upgraded the OS, and until about 2 weeks ago everything worked almost as well as it should have, except for the ongoing wifi problem that seems better now with some work arounds. Is this problem due to the app's, or more problems with the Ipad?
Has anyone else noticed Safari crashing on the IPad since the 4.2.1 update?
It does not seem to matter which website that I go to. Usually a newspaper or a weather site will make it crash. I can restart Safari and go right back to the site with no problem at all. It's the initial load of the site that will crash Safari.
My iPad 2 with 3G and 32GB storage is having problems with Safari crashing. In Settings, I cleared Safari web info but Safari is unusable and all web pages crash and then goes back to the desktop. Web pages load to about 90% before it quits. Something is definitely wrong with this iPad.
I have the iPad 3G 32gb and jail broken. I have had no problems with my device except this one problem that happens randomly but not a lot. Safari crashes. Doesn't matter what I'm doing it just closes. I'm am still on 3.2 obviously.
When I attempt to scroll down (gesture) to see further down my gallery, safari closes and puts me back to the home page on my 32GB iPad. Information: iMac 24, 3Gs iPhone OS 3.1.3 2,16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
If it were any other app I'd delete it and reinstall but you can't really do that with safari.Sometimes it's fine, other times it will crash out several times, usually as I'm typing something like this. It usually waits until I've almost finished and then Pulls the plug, losing everything I've written in the process.
I'm new to the developer program and I installed ios5 beta on my iPad. Its cool but am having constant problems with my apps crashing or not even working at all. Even Safari will just quit out no where and it happens a lot. Is this happening to others or is it just me?
Please forgive me as I have posted this message elsewhere because I did not see the "applications" forum. Safari keeps on crashing on my new Ipad - Can anybody advise me on what I should do? Can this be dealt with with an update or should I start using a different browser?
The 4.2.1 upgrade crashes my ipad Safari when I log into wunderground.com. My Iphone 4 upgraded to 4.2.1 and logs into wunderground with no problem (safari does not crash). I ran a restore but that did not fix the problem. 3.xx ran wunderground logins with no problems. Is there a way to return to an older operating system?
I installed app called Documents 2 Go. Since then I am facing a weird problem. My Safari gets crashes for unknown reasons. I even tried reinstalling that but It didn't worked.I am getting frustrated Please suggest a solution.
Are there any fixes for the iPad 2 IOS 8.1.1? I've had problems with Safari and other Apps crashing or locking up, and with extremely slow touch response. These problems have been occurring since the last update. At times the iPad becomes unusable. I have been keeping all programs closed and history and web site data cleared.
It keeps crashing about 4 or 5 times a day. If I quickly change windows it freezes the Safari just goes to a White screen with an empty address bar and I have to reboot. If I don't reboot sometimes it catches back up. It's an IPad 2 latest software any ideas?
My safari has seem to crashed. I guess from bookmarking adobe files or something but in any case whenever I open up safari and I touch the address line, my iPad kicks me out and goes back to my home screen. I can't even type in a google search or address of that's what I meant. I cannot use safari whatsoever I checked the setting and theyre all normal. I've rebooted several times by holding down home button and power button and still the same result.
I have owned my iPad 3 for more than a year now and I have never encountered this problem but ever since I have updated to the latest iOS version(7.1.1), my safari keeps crashing on my community site where threads have maybe over a 100 comments in them.
Now whenever I open a thread page on Safari, it loads for a few seconds then crashes, to make things worse for me is one in a while when it crashes, it reboots my iPad.
How do I prevent my Safari from crashing everytime I open a thread? (I have already tried other browsing apps such as Google Search and Chrome, they still crash. I even tried letting it load half-way and then stopping it but it isn't going well.)
I have noticed that Safari on my iPad will crash out while I am checking my Facebook. It usually happens when I reach posts that are about 12-14 hours old. I tried clearing my cache (thinking that might be responsible), but it didn't seem to help. Is it possible that I am running into some sort of wall as far as Safari's buffer is concerned? Anyone else having a similar problem?

Today when I tried to open The Weather Channel app, it starts and then stops or crashes. To try to remedy this I have rebooted, deleted the app and then re-installed it, re-booted again, and it still crashes. As far as I know no settings that affect it have been changed. It has always worked fine before today.Sent from my iPad using iPF
