My iPad 3rd Gen running iOS 7. It is connected to Microsoft Live email, and I have it syncing 30 days of messages. I frequently use the outlook.com website to read and delete messages. When I look at my iPad inbox, the messages remain even though I have already deleted them in the website. This behaviour persists whether I am on Wi-Fi or cellular data.
Do I have a configuration set incorrectly, or is this a known issue with MS Live?

I need to set up a Windows Live Hotmail in my iPad3. How can I do that?
View 2 RepliesIs there an easy way to import Windows 7 Live Mail Contacts to my new iPad 3? I wish to import only the email addresses.
View 1 RepliesI have extensive email archives set up in my Windows Live Mail client. I've set up folder for individual users, like my wife, various friends, groups, doctors, that sort of thing. In total I have 16 folders, which makes it easier to go right to whatever correspondence I am looking for. What I was hoping the IPad would do when I sync is create all the folders and move the related correspondence to each folder and store there so I would have that same convenient access on my IPad. But for some reason it didn't do that on initial sync, and I can't seem to figure out how to commend it to do that.Is there a way to get the IPad to sync up all the user added folders and their contents this way?I love the IPad and I believe they must have created a way to make this transition, that I must just be missing the right 'button' to push. :-)
View 1 RepliesI am new to ipad 2. I use Windows Live Mail for all my messages, work and personal. Quite simply - is there a way I can see, download, install something that will allow me to use this on my ipad? I can see the messages on my webmail account but it won't let me open them. Will jailbreaking allow me to download something like Thunderbird so that I can access the mail.

Can the iPad connect to Windows Live SkyDrive?
View 2 RepliesI'm about 2/3 of the way through my trial period with MobileMe. I have two PCs (a Toshiba Satellite laptop and a Dell Studio i7), an iPhone 3GS and a Wi-Fi/3G iPad. I use the most current Microsoft email platform - Windows Live Mail - for email, contacts and calendaring on both my PCs. When setting up the iPad for sync, iTunes seems to indicate that the iPad will only sync calendars with Outlook, however. When I use Windows Live's servers to deliver my mail the iPad is unable to connect to the pop3.live.com server consisitently. Apple support says Microsoft is responsible for this problem but Windows Live has been consistently reliable and works well with the iPhone. I haven't been able to get MobileMe to work. I have heard in other forums that the pop3 non-connect is a known problem

View 3 RepliesI'm running EyeTV on a 2.26 C2D mac mini (late '09). When trying to stream live TV to a iPad 2 while also watching live TV via the mac on a 720 plasma screen the iPad 2 video drops a lot of frames. Both of the live feeds are HD channels from an antenna using an HDHomeRun. When this happens, the CPU usage is at 100%. Using just the iPad or mac/TV is fine. Has anyone tried this with a similar mini using a Turbo.264 HD to offload some of the file conversion to reduce the CPU load?

View 3 RepliesI recently had some problem with my Ipad 2. Originally it was jailbroken on iOS 4.3. I gave it to my dad, since I bought the new iPad.
Last month he updated it to 6.1 over the air (OTA), and you already knew, the iPad cannot be used anymore. When he showed it to me, I can only see the "plug in to iTunes" on the screen.
When I try to restore the firmware for it, here comes the issue. iTunes cannot recognize my iPad. Specifically, Windows has some problem in installing the driver for it.
Here is the warning message when I plug the iPad in and Windows finishes installing the driver.
In "Device Manager" I can only see the "Unknown Device" which is supposed to be my iPad.
I tried to follow the troubleshooting on Apple support page by manually installing the driver from "C:Program FilesCommon FilesAppleMobile Device SupportDrivers". After doing this here is what I saw in "Device Manager". Notice the exclamation mark on the "Apple Device".
I have updated my iTunes to the latest version, by the way, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits. I have tried on 2 3 other Win7 machines (32/64 bits), and tried to change other cable as well. So now I am sure the problem is with my iPad.
