Bright Areas On One Side During Black Screen

Aug 5, 2012Just got a brand new IPad 3 just under a month ago from Amazon. Today when I was reading a book in iBooks there appeared a thick black line though the right hand side of the page. This got worse until the entire page was black as one progressed through the book. I turned off the device and later observed that the screen was flickering. This device is not jailbroken, has not been dropped and is usually in a leather case. My older Ipad 2 had no such problems.

Jun 29, 2011The screen cracked on my brand new out of the box USA iPad 2, and I did not do any physical damage abuse or anything to it. It must have had a crack prior to me openning it and then within a couple of days, the crack has spread to reach from side of one corner to the other side! Note: there is only ONE crack
I took it directly to the Apple repair center (the one they designate in HK) and they said they would need to send it to Apple for review.
And surprisingly three days later, Apple comes back and says there is multiple cracks and will not replace my iPad 2. THE FUNNY thing is, there are stories of people on this forum that has had great Apple service, who could walk into an Apple Shop and had there cracked screen iPad replaced, but this is not the case here.
I am stuck with an iPad 2 that is cracked, not even BY ME, and may now be even further cracked by the repair shop, and yet I suffered horrible Apple Service and still declined a replacement.

Black Front Right-side Edge
Sep 15, 2010I've had my iPad since launch day, and have been very pleased with its performance.
One small thing, though, has been bothering me, and I'm wondering if it is normal.
The black front right-side edge of my iPad (when held in portrait mode, with the home button at the bottom) becomes quite warm ? even hot*? to the touch. The warmth becomes noticeable after about 5 minutes of use.

Aug 10, 2011My husband has an iPad 1, which I bought back in January. Tonight, I noticed that the right side of the screen has dimmed in this sort of blotchy looking mess, and I am not sure why, or what exactly it would be called. It has not had anything spilled on it, been dropped, etc., and has been in a case since the day I bought it (a case + a rubber grip on the back).
I am including photos I tried to take of the blotchy parts, but it was difficult to photograph.

Screen Won't Display Screen - Screen Is Light Black-grey
May 1, 2012I dropped my ipad to the floor (wood) from like 20-30 cm distance, and although i thought it wasn´t a big deal (not to big impact), the screen came black. I restored my ipad (via itunes) and now am not seeing any picture on the screen.. it seems to be working fine as the voice ove is turned on and it speaks, i can hear sounds when i touch the screen and select options and icons, but cannot see anything on it, the screen is just light black-grey. I reset, restore, even try to restore to factory setting, and nothing. When i turn it on, I can see apple logo for like 1 second, follow buy the Ipad image, some times if I am touching the screen on different point i get to see the screnn with the icons displayed, but only for one second..

2nd: Now here is my problem:
I've just bought a brand new Ipad 64Gb WIFI and it seems to have a display problem.
I can see a clear spot of about 1cm long at the middle-right side of the screen. It's particuliary visible when the display is grey or white.
The spot is reacting with pressure, I mean that if I push around it with my finger its brightness varies.
I've tried to get it of with the screen massage technique, but no luck
I've tried to restore the OS with itunes, reset the Ipad, etc... No more result.
I've called the Apple Support and they have validate the replacement procedure.
Do you think that I should replace my Ipad or is there a home-made solution ? I'm afraid to receive a worst product...

Air Bubble Along The Side Of Screen Protector
Feb 3, 2012I just put on a screen protector. It was my third, the other got messed up. It came with three. It came perfect except it has air bubbles along the right edge, and a little of the top (touching the edge of the screen). It may be a millimeter off, but it was the closest I could get it. How can I get them out? I'm crazy about these small things. It is not dust, and I tried the little white card and credit card.

Three Smudge Lines From The Home Button Side To The Camera Side
Mar 19, 2012Not sure if anyone has thus problem and not sure if worth returning over, but on my iPad there seem to be three smudge lines from the home button side to the camera side. One at the top, one in the middle and one near the bottom. They are super visible when the iPad screen is off. And I tried cleaning them off but nothing.

There has to be someone else out there with the same problem, right? So, my question is, how do I fix it? Should i even take it into an apple store?
