Hello,

Not sure if anyone has thus problem and not sure if worth returning over, but on my iPad there seem to be three smudge lines from the home button side to the camera side. One at the top, one in the middle and one near the bottom. They are super visible when the iPad screen is off. And I tried cleaning them off but nothing.

Any ideas on what it is? Or what I should do?

Thanks,
Crazysah

In my experience it's only been dust, and a cloth wipes them away.

Are these the three lines where the Smart Cover doesn't make contact? If so, wipe the smudges off. :rolleyes:

Which cloth do you recommend?

@bobobenobi, it probably is.
Used my oakley lens cloth, an aglient one I've gotten at tradeshow. Might have a Giro one somewhere. Pretty much any lens cloth. A little water if you'd like.

Anything harsher could over time degrade the oleophobic coating.

Agreed that this is all normal. I just use my eyeglass cloth to smooth them out. Takes 3 seconds.

On a similar note, I was at Best Buy trying to find a suitable case yesterday and noticed they're selling a 3-pack of cleaning cloths (no fluid) for almost $12.

Wow. :rolleyes:
