Won't Connect To Airport Speakers Via Airplay

Recently installed 4.2 on my iPad.
Using the iPod app or Pandora, I can see my enabled Airport Express speakers, but they fail to connect when selected. (actually, they've connected for a few seconds a couple of times, but promptly fizzle out and won't connect again)
Additionally, after a failed attempt at connecting to the Airport Express speakers, all other apps will not connect to the network until a the iPad is restarted.
The speakers work perfectly with iTunes on my Mac (via Airplay), so I imagine it's not a problem with my network. Also, the firmware on both Airport modules is up to date.

Airplay Speakers - Listen Music Without Having To Dock IPad Or Connect Via An AUX Cable

My family recently got my mom an iPad 2 for her birthday. Now that Christmas is coming up I thought she might enjoy some speakers to go with her iPad so she can listen to her music.
Now, it would be great if she could listen to her music without having to dock her iPad or connect via an AUX cable. I've seen Airplay speakers advertised in a couple of sale papers, but I don't really have a lot of background knowledge on them. After a quick search online I didn't really come across a huge selection.
Does anyone have any suggestions for Airplay speakers? I'd like to get her something that is relatively simple (smaller, easy to set up...). She also doesn't need anything with "fantastic audio quality." She just needs something that is simple, wireless, and can causally listen to music with.

I spend most of my time with my iPad either on the sofa or in bed and I love listening to music through my Airport Express hooked up to speakers.The remote app is awesome for this on the iPhone but I think the iPad would be an even better platform.I don't think Apple have released an iPad version of Remote but would anyone recommend a similar app?

About iPad airplay can't use multiple speakers?My iPad use the latest ios4.2 beta1 ,there is 3 airport express in my house.In iOS 3.2 I can use the App "Remote" to control 3 speakers perfectly,but "Remote" even can install in ios4.2 ,not use smoothly.After I upgrade iOS to 4.2, I can use Airplay to control each speaker without "Remote",but can't use multiple speakers at the same time. Is anyone like me?Is there have any other solution can fix this problem?

Since I have Airfoil, no problem before and now, with OS X 10.6.5 and last ios 4.2. I can hear music everywhere with my 4 airport express (bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and lounge).Since I have Airplay, there is a big problem : if I play iTunes and choose a room like kitchen or lounge, I have music for 5 to 10 seconds, then nothing for 10 seconds, then the light is blinking orange.The same if I play from iPad or iPod touch whit airplay.But, if I play with airfoil (choosing any application like iTunes or Safari or others), I have no problem choosing kitchen or bedroom or lounge or bathroom or all of them.ios 4.2 iPad

Won't Use AirPlay Remote And Airport Expess

I have last os x, last iOS 4.2 for ipad, livebox Inventel, and 4airport express in différent rooms.
I use remote iPad, then on iPad I see my itunes and I choose a music to play on my hifi in my room. I CAN now listen my music, but only for few minutes because after the airexpress light is flashing orange.
What is the problem because I have any problem when I use airfoil application?

New to the forums here so thanks for any help in advance. Airplay is working great on my iphone and ipad but to only one set of airport express at a time. My living room is a very long room, about 80 feet so I have an airport express at each end with speakers. On itunes on the phone I can play one set or with ipod on ipad I can also play one set of speakers but not both like on my computer. There is no multiple speaker option. I thought airplay could control multiple AE? Is this not an available feature yet? Both my AE have the latest firmware updates. Thanks again. iOS 4

I have updated everything. I have an Airport Express and an iPad with the newest iOS. I have music on my iPad which i tried to stream via AirPlay but no sound comes out. I have also tried to stream music from Pandora, YouTube and Safari, and I get no sound. But I can stream perfectly fine on my MacBook iTunes using AirPlay. I got the new iPad and i want to stream music from my iPad to my speakers with Airplay connected by an airport express with a queue as an IMPORTANT option This is my setup:
Gigabit lan,ReadyNAS duo,Airpot Express - connected to a speaker,the new iPad,(i also got a PC and a MBA - but i dont want those devices to be turned on - if i just want to hear some music...)
everything connects without any problems at all, i can stream music from my iPad to the speakers with airplay,i just need help with an app that can stream music directly from the NAS to the speakers, where you can put music numbers into a live queue, so you dont need to create a playlist BEFORE you can start the music I've bought the Buzz Player yesterday which got alot of options in it, but it wont allow me to queue the music,AS a sidenote.. the NAS got an itunes server as an option, but according to loads of forum posts and stuff.. that wont help me

I'm trying to share my Ethernet connection on my iMac to my iPad via Airport. I've tried every setting I can think of, every piece of advice that Google brings up, even entering IP addresses etc. manually. Nothing works. I can get Airport to say that it's connected, but the iPad won't connect to the internet at all. Sometimes it will try to load a webpage or the app store, but then later it will just say that it's not connected again.

Won't Connect / Not Recognizing Airport Express

I had low wireless signal on my patio. I have a Timecapsule as my base station. I purchased an Airport Express today to extend the range of my network. It's all set up and working for my MB Pro. However, on my patio the signal is still nil on the iPad. If I move the iPad next to the AirPort Express the signal strength does not change. I tried restarting the iPad and this did not help. All my firmware/software is up to date. Any suggestions?

Cannot Connect To Internet Through IMAC Airport?

Have just bought wife Ipad. It will find the wifi network on my Imac, it shows that it is connected, but will not connect to Internet.
Ipad works fine on 3g, as we are home want to use wifi from my Imac.
On Safari on Ipad get message "Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to internet"
Have the icon at the top left of screen showing that wifi is getting a signal. Password is correct. Have also tried after set the airport on desktop not to request a password and this makes no difference.
Have been Googling all morning and it seems that this has occurred in the past with other users, but so far unable to find an answer.
Apple Support not working Sunday in UK.
