i am going on a road trip and i have the ipad that does not have 3g. I was wondering if any of you know of some fun games that dont require wifi in order to be played. I like the farming kind of games mostly. also, ones that you can have seperate accounts would be good too as i share the ipad. i have googled and googled and googled some more, and havent found much.

Is there a way to do this when we are on the road, or someplace where there is no wi-fi? Most of our ipads have cellular connections, but personal hotspot doesn't seem to allow them to see each other.
Is my only choice to buy a pocket router? Or is there a way to setup the ipads for an ad hoc network?
Has anyone tried to play yahoo games on the ipad? Just curious if they work. I love the backgammon and dominoes.

A friend has purchased a new iPad4. After installing iTunes on his desktop PC, he connected the iPad to it for its initialisation.
However, the iPad says it needs Wifi connection and refuses to initialise.
If the Apple Tablet has a carrier like AT&T or verizon. Do you think that would be required? It seems like another bill to pay. I would love a tablet, but would i need a carrier, other than the wifi connection around the house or hotspots.

I heard that iPhone has 620 Mhz processor and iPad will have 1 Ghz. The output resolution of iPad will be much greater so will it be able to run games with better graphics and rendering or will it run current iPhone games with a higher resolution in a bigger screen?
View 5 RepliesIf you were one of the very lucky ones who bought Nescaline when it was in the app store a few months back, you can play NES games on your iPad. The games are so much easier to play on the iPad, but you have to play in portrait mode...landscape mode puts the buttons a bit too far away from your thumbs.
For those that didn't get Nescaline when it was out, this should give you something to look forward to when a jailbreak is released and you can install iNES on your iPad
On the iPad can you go into Facebook and play the games because I know we can't from my iPod Touch. I can download apps of certain games which sends the scores to Facebook but I was just wondering if you can play the games directly when logged into Facebook on the iPad.
