Strange bug on my new lPad,if I try launching App Store it loads as far as adding the bottom nav of the App Store but then quits and launches iTunes Store, opening in the Music section.Doesn't seem to matter whether I'm logged in to my account or not.Didn't start happening until a couple of days ago, not aware of annything I might have done to cause it.Anybody else seen this or have a possible solution I can try?
Yesterday I noticed that when launching an App such as Crazy Birds or Fragger, or etc. that the sound is now missing. From the desktop I can adjust the sound to the max rating but when an App is launched, the sound is no longer adjustable and the play is on mute. This is happening on two IPads. Anyone else experiencing this? Ipod and Video play work ok.
i downloaded a few apps but when i try to launch them by clicking on them, it will load for a few secs and then the main screen will appear. I will not be able to launch the app. Is this a problem with my app or the ipad ? i have similar problems when i try to upload photos from the card reader.
I get this one alot I tap an app to launch it, it starts to open. sometimes makes to main screen but then dumps me out to springboard
for example, i launch weatherbug and it crashes i launch it 3 more times, 3 rd time it remains open
i launch we rule, same problem
so I hard reset the ipad.
but same exact problem. this happens on all apps i download from app store.
sometimes it crashes and other times it wont.
i launch facebook, works fine.
a few hours later i launch facebook and it crashes to the springboard.
I would say this happens on every single app store app I have d/l but does not happen on the native OS apps. it seems to be app store related, perhaps they are buggy and not iPad perfect yet as i imaghine most are not ported yet.
but then, those that are ipad aware or specific still have the odd behavior.
simple workaround is to keep relaunching the app until it works but it really ***** when ya trying to impress a friend...to demo it and the stupid app crashes 3 times in a row
this happening fairly regular for me. i would say I can make this issue happen at least 1 to 2 times an hour easily.
I'm not sure whats causing this but I installed the bible app from the app store and I have not been able to use it. Once I launch it, it shows a youversion intro screen and then the app closes and returns me to the ipad home.
Bought the newest iPad tonight (3rd gen). Synced to my iTunes and previous backup from iPad 2. No big deal. BUT... went to open iBooks app and the screen went dark for a quick second and then went back to the home screen. The app wouldn't launch. I tried other Apple and 3rd party apps. Most did the same (accept ABC news app for some reason). Called AppleCare and they had me restore, etc. Gave me a case number and said to call them back if it didn't work
When I connect my iPad to my MacBookPro ( via the USB cable), the Nikon Transfer software launches. This is software provided by Nikon to transfer pictures from my Nikon camera to the Mac. Because connecting the camera to the Mac via USB also launches Nikon Transfer (have it set that way for 2 years now), I assume that the Mac thinks my iPad is the camera. Any idea how to keep Nikon Transfer from launching when the iPad is connected? I am able to do everything in iTunes related to the iPad, so its more an annoyance than actually causing a problem. But still would like to address it if possible.
I've just bought an iPad3 and after a few days the apps I downloaded stopped working. I search the web and found that most people suggest this is an authorization problem and I should download a free app to keep iStore happy. I did this the first time and thought that would be the end of it, but now it's happened again. It makes the device totally unusable to me as I often have long periods with no internet connection. I've also tried resetting but this doesn't work.
IPad 2 :: Calendar Stops Immediately After Launching?
Dec 22, 2011
I created a new event for 2012 and hit "Today" to return back to the current day and that's where the trouble started. Calendar now stops immediately after launch. I've tried resetting/restarting but they haven't fixed it.
I was visiting the YouTube website because the App only let's you post comments a couple of times before it says unavailable. On YouTube the capture kicks in to prevent spam but there you have the option to fill it in.
Anyway, I'm asked to log in on the main site and it triggers launching the App. Now every time I return to Safari it continues to immediately do it again. I don't have time to close the tab. I've tried wiping, history cookies and cache in the settings but that didn't work.
I've had to install the Atomic browser to come here. I don't want to do a full reset of everything just for this. I'm away from my desktop.
Restore, Itunes And Applications Store Crash On Launching
Sep 27, 2010
I just restored my OS (latest 3.2) due to some problems. Now itunes and app store crash a few seconds after launching. If I'm not connected to internet then they don't crash (but of course they are useless)
YouTube - Clicking The Home Button And Re-launching Safari - Get A Crash
Apr 8, 2011
I have noticed that on my 1st gen iPad, in then past week or so, when clicking on a YouTube link while in Safari, after opening YouTube and watching part of the video, then clicking the Home button and relaunching Safari, I will get a crash. Specifically, on relaunching Safari, the most recent page is brought up, but only a blank page. When I hit the button to open all pages, only the top 1 inch displays (the bottom of the screen is white). Then Safari cranes and the home iOS screen opens. Then I launch Safari, usually with no problem.
