New IPAD won't accept my network password. This is happening during the initial set-up phase and keeps me from moving forward with the setup. I'm 99% sure the password is correct and positive the network is running.
I am using a Linksys router, and when I try to setup a wifi connection on my new IPAD, it doesn't accept my password, yet when I tested the password with my laptop it worked fine. I have tried over and over and can't get it to work. Any suggestions? Does it matter that I am using a PC with an apple product?
I tried to connect my new iPad to my home LAN. It found "Howard Brazee's Network", and I selected it. It asked me to Enter Password. I guessed, but when I finished typing it, the Join key was still greyed out. Does that mean it's expecting a bigger password? Or just that it's a wrong password.
My DI-524 router has WPA (I think). I'm going through its menus trying to find out for sure, and trying to find a password there. Is there any way to look for whatever my iPad is looking for from my Mac?

trying to set up my new Ipad 3 it tells me that my apple id password is wrong and to reset it. It was the right one ( I logged in yesterday with it) but I reset it anyhow, and this reset was confirmed. New pw works when I log in via laptop. Back to ipad, new pw still won't work...do I have to wait for a while or what? So I wait..try again..ipad tells me to use an email address rather than old apple id for security reasons. Won't let me in -- tells me that email address is in use...yes, it is.it is the address associated with my apple ID.....so am caught in a cycle -
I normally am able to access my workplace email (via Microsoft Outlook Exchange) on my iPad. I was required to change my Enterprise (and Outlook) password on my workplace computer. Now iPad will not accept the new Exchange account password which renders all other functions on the iPad inoperative. How do I bypass that Exchange password prompt?
I set up iTunes remote without any problem on my iPod touch a long time ago. However, today when I try to set it up on my iPad, iTunes is not accepting the passcode provided by the iPad. I enter the passcode ***EXACTLY*** as issued by the iPad, and iTunes comes back saying, "The passcode you entered was incorrect. Please try again". This is with iTunes v10.4 (80) running under OS X Lion with an iPad running the factory supplied iOS v4.3.3.
O my hotmail email got hacked and I had to change it. Now, when I try to enter my new password it won't accept it. I powered down a few times and it still won't work. I even deleted the account and reset it and nothing!
I can use Safari and then gmail but want to be able to use gmail from the 'mail' icon on the home screen. When I set up the account, the Ipad tells me the un and pw are not correct when I know they are-
I changed my gmail pw on my laptop. A few hours later I went to use my ipad. I log in with my 4 diget pw..it goes straight to my email and wont accept my pw. I can not get to any other app or page on the ipad. What do I do?
I am using a iPad 3G with Rogers (Canada) as the carrier. The nice fellow at the Apple Store set up a Gmail account for me using SMPT. For the first day - it worked fine. Then Google locked the account - and wanted to send me a verification number - thinking the device was a SmartPhone. Google then unlocked the account and everything was fine until for a few days and then I got a message that my password was not valid. Went on my PC - reset the password - made the change in Settings on the iPad and everything worked great. Yesterday - same message - password not working. Is anyone else having this issue? It's getting to be a pain to reset the thing all of the time.
I have a home wireless network which is password protected. I have the iPad Mini, a 3rd Gen iPad, an iMac, an iPod Touch, a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and a Kindle HD Fire. Everything will connect to my network except the Mini. When I try to connect it, I am asked for my network password (router), which I type in correctly, but the Mini tells me it is an incorrect password! I have tried resetting both the network settings and all settings, but get the same message! Will resetting my Mini totally and erasing everything fix this, or will I be barking up the wrong tree and causing myself a lot of work getting my programs back without fixing the problem?
I'm trying to use iMessage on my iPad and can't seem to either receive iMessages or photo stream...I try to sign into iMessage and it won't accept my password when it's all the same. Right? The response is something is wrong with my network. Everything else works....???
I Keep being told my keychain password has been sent to my phone which is a land line and DOES NOT ACCEPT TEXTS. I need to change the phone number that they send this security pass code to but I don't know how.

I just got an IPad and was going through setup when the keyboard disappeared as I was entering the network password. Now my network is locked and since I haven't completed setup, I cannot access Network Settings to reset them.
