I have just returned from holiday in italy where i was using the hotels wi fi, used flight mode on the plane home, got home and my i pad still thinks it is in rome (time) and will not connect to my home network?
I have been using my IPad for about a month and successfully connecting to my in-home WiFi every day. This morning I must have done something because I can no longer connect.
I have the WiFi model only (no 3G) and operating under OS 3.2.1.
My WiFi is working for all other wireless connected computers in the house so that is not the problem.

IPad Mini :: Turn On WiFi - Won't Connect To Home Network
Nov 27, 2013
I recently got my ipad mini retina display. I did all the normal set up...ok this is where it doesn't make sense here. I went to setting and turn on wifi. The wifi pick up my home network and as I click on it, i input the password. So I assume its ok now I'll be able to get on wifi with no problem. Sadly that is not the case. My home network keep loading and loading and it won't connect to my home network.
IPad Mini :: Fails To Connect To WiFi Home Network Using U-Verse
Feb 3, 2014
I-PAD Mini fails to connect to WIFI home network using U-Verse. Several laptops and other devices have no problem connecting using the key for a WPA2-Personal secured connection. I have tried automatic and manual, (192.168.1.254), connection but I-PAD Minis fail to connect, (two different I-PADS Mini). I also spent about an hour online with I-PAD support but they were unable to supply a resolution.
Unable To Connect To Network/can't Even Connect To My Home Network?
Jun 28, 2010
Title says it all, bought a 64gig iPad wifi today...little did i know tons of users are having wifi problems...my problem doesnt seem to fit the others though. Most of what i've read people can connect for a bit,
and after being in sleep mode then it has problems. I can't even connect to my home network. Works fine with my ipod Touch, laptop, etc. I dont have any form of security set up on my router what so ever. I plan on buying a new router soon (for reasons other than this iPad crap.)
I'd really like to see some kind of resolution to this problem before i need to do that though.I tried all that i could out of the trouble shooting stuff. nothing worked. I even tried setting up a static IP for it. What else can be done? i really dont want to have to return it since its such a nice piece of tech.
Current network at home connects pc to laptop and printer, but new ipad2 will not accept the password that works just fine for the laptop connection. thus, rejects wifi connection.
I have successfully connected my ipad to my home network for a couple of months now with no issues. However, all of a sudden today, I am not able to connect. Some additional info:I am "sharing" the ethernet connection to my MacBook via airport.
I have set it up with a username and password (which has not changed).Any ideas on what might be the problem? My MacBook Pro connects great, as does my iPod Touch and my Tivo - just not my iPad. I have restored the network settings, restarted the wi-fi, and even played witht he brightness settings (per another post) but no dice!
Information: MacBook Pro 13" Mac OS X (10.6.4) iPad wi-fi, 16gb, (3.2.2)
Unable To Connect-cannot Access To Home Wi-fi Network?
Oct 14, 2010
This is a brand new iPad. It locates my home wi-fi network just fine. It will not connect to it. I get the "unable to connect" message every time. Both my pc and my palm pilot connect and access the net on this network. Network is not locked or encrypted.
My iPad is hooking to wifi at home just fine...rarely drops. I am happy. Yesterday I had new tires put on and the Firestone guy says...sure we have wifi and it's open...go for it.So I went to set it and it showed I was on their network but nothing would connect. Safari or email.I looked at the chart ,of network into in the wifi set up and the fields were all blank...no IP addy numbers, etc

Unable To Connect Wifi Connection/Looses Secure Wifi Network Credentials Periodically?
Nov 15, 2010
iPad 64 3G/Wifi Looses secure wifi network credentials periodically. I retype in the 26 character key and I get back on. This is very unnerving and sometimes leaves my family stranded without a connection. Is this going to be a permanent flaw of the iPad?
IPad Mini :: Suddenly Won't Connect - Lost Connection To Home Network
Sep 1, 2014
My mini with retinal display has worked flawlessly since Xmas. Today it lost connection and will not reconnect. In General Settings the network (home) is there, but will not connect. I have turned off router and mini, turned them back on at the same time and at different times without any resolution to this problem.
