I prefer the desktop YouTube website for my iPad rather than the mobile version but sometimes when I go to watch a video I get the player asking me to download flash. Is there anyway around this without going off the desktop site?
I just sync some video on ipad, while watching the screen suddenly turned off to black. other applications are still running normally. I have restarted but still not. Now video applications unusable. What do I do?
I was watching yoututbe then all of a sudden the screen froze I figure the video was either buffering so I checked and i clicked the home button and it wont respond. Then I tried resetting it by holding the sleep wake button...still no response. I'll might just wait till the battery dies then I see what happens.
I watch a lot of video on my iPad. Podcasts mainly, but the occasional film.I just posted in a thread here about how I need a 64GB iPad to hold all my video, then I started thinking that as I watch most of it in the house, I could probably store the media externally and use the iPad as a screen.I use my mbp with iTunes and an external drive, so it is not on all the time. I do have a DROBO and a READYNAS DUO on my network, which could be used as my iTunes drive. Is it possible to simply store the iTunes library on the NAS and serve the iPad?
I've always been able to watch videos, play presentations, everything I fact my ipad saw the TV saw.
Today I connected my iPad 3 latest IOS, to the TV (all the right connection) and it says "This accessory not supported" on the iPad. it always was ! What I've done wrong? Have I somehow changed something in the settings?
I love the orientation lock on the iPad but miss a touch lock as my younger kid just can't keep her fingers off it while watching a movie. Is there any way or any app that can give me a touch lock so that it shows a movie and kids can not interfere by touch
I am finding you tube videos very unreliable. In the house, on wifi - excellent connection strength to wifi network. Yet, you tube video never starts. Just stares back at me with a black screen.Information : iPad Other OS.
When my ipad plays any video, it shows a black screen. It is jailbroken (4.2.1, 64GB WiFi) and I dont really want to restore it... When I try youtube videos, it wont work (note that sound works, and it still shows the controller bar, etc) when i try movies, tv shows, or music videos it does not work, when i played cut the rope, the opening video showed black
When I am pressing the 'videos' icon the screen is going black and blank. No tapping on screen has any effect. However 'home' button returns me to home screen. getting 'videos' icon rework and display the videos content available in my ipad ? Few days back I actually installed the icloud software. Is it anything connected with this installation ?

I can't get the volume to work when I watch a youtube video, there's no volume slide under the play button and my volume control on my IPad, but yet my volume works perfect on everything else, what can I do?
I have a IPAD1 3G 32Gb with the latest IOS updated. Youtube app was preloaded on the Ipad. As you are aware some of the channels stream live videos on youtube. I would like to view live stream videos on my Ipad without much delay. But I do not have the option to type youtube address specifically; only I can search for videos and channels.
How do I open particular channel and view stream video?
As most of the live stream videos are flash based, I cannot use safari. I did use iswifter browser for viewing live stream, it was ok. But after every 6 minutes it redirected me to purchase the Iswifter browser.
Do you guys know any other app to view live flash stream?
I know that if you want to watch a movie (own personal collection) on your iPad, you have to encode the movie and then load/transfer using iTunes.Do All videos you want to watch on your iPad from your personal collection have to be encoded first to iPad format before you can transfer and watch on your iPad?So home movies, youtube videos I've downloaded, etc... all have to be encoded ( I have handbrake) and then I can transfer over?
I have the correct composite connector (RGB + RW) but when I connect the iPad to play a movie through the TV there is a problem with the horizontal hold on the TV and the picture is distorted. I did not have this issue when playing movies wight my iPod touch. I want to stream Netflix.
I loaded up my iPad 2 with several mp4s to watch while on vacation. We watched one on the airplane and now whenever I start the videos app, the screen just goes black and unresponsive. I've tried ensuring that the app is closed, I've even shutdown my pad and rebooted, to no avail. I'm away from my computer and cannot re-sync.
My lap top and my iPad are using the same wi fi network and my laptop can stream a video all the way through without a problem but my iPad keps stoping the video and making me hit the play button again and again,it's driving me crazy Edit; and when it freezes and then eventually resumes by itself(something my laptop rarely has issues with) it fast forwards through the eact amount of minutes that it was frozen, so I end up having to backtrack, it's really pissing me off!
I Have no sound on my ipad when I'm watching videos on FaceTime. My mute button on the side is not on. I have also made sure that when I scroll up on my home screen that my mute button is not pushed. The sound will come and go. I'm wondering if it might be a software problem?
