Loud Buzzing On Th Audio When Connect Usb Power Cord Plugged

Aug 19, 2010

i have my usb power cord plugged into a device which converts the 12V to usb power. When I do this the IPAD works fine except for audio output. There is a loud buzzing on the audio. When I play audio and it is not hooked up to car usb, no buzzng. Since very cheap electronics can use car power to produce clean sound, why does not the $800+ 64GB 3G do it? Seems like a major design flaw if I cannot plug it into the car and listen to music during long trips. Information : 64GB 3G Mac OS X (10.6.3).

Battery Dying While Plugged In

Nov 1, 2010

Has anyone else experienced the Ipad dying when plugged in? It will be at 100% with the battery bolt showing charging, and when I watch a movie, or play a game the battery will start dying. Would like to know if this is what it is supposed to do, or it may be a software glitch not letting the Ipad know to use AC power instead of the battery when plugged in. IPad 3 :: Is In Use And Battery Goes Down Even While Plugged In

Oct 3, 2014

New charger, now battery goes down even while plugged in when iPad is in use ... And this is not okay... I use the device ten plus hours a day. It needs to charge or at least maintain when plugged in and in use. It is my lifeline and how I communicate with my deaf partner who lives five hours a way. I did not have this problem with the original apple charger, or the walmart replacement I was using up until today when that one also fell apart. It's an iPad 3.

Unable To Work With Power Cord Cable

May 19, 2010

I've notice that at the Apple store i visited, that most iPads on display had the power cables exposed or the cable about to break. I've had that problem w other power cables, and is usually at the end of the cable where it meets w the attachment that goes into the unit. Perhaps is the abuse that these display units take, but if that is any indication, Apple should consider a solution for the power cables attachments.

What Is The Name Of The Board That The Power Flex Cable Plugs Into

Jul 15, 2011

What is the name of the board that the Power Flex Cable plugs into and can it be replaced? I think I broke the socket on this board trying to remove the old flex cable with all that tape around it. The copper that makes a rectangle around the socket has a small gap in the copper. I have ordered a new power flex cable and wont be able to test it until it arrives, but I have a feeling I'm going to need to replace that board.

Battery Losing Charge While Plugged In AND In Use

Nov 26, 2010

I got my ipad opening day. By the end of the day, I noticed that even though I had the ipad plugged into the supplied charger with supplied cable, the battery was slowing draining at a rate of approximately 5% every hour. So I called apple care and they decided to send me a new replacement. However, the behavior is the same with this iPad. We own two of them, so I did try the power adapter and cable from the second ipad and again, the behavior is the same. I would like to see if anyone else notices this with their iPad if they could at least give it a try:1) Fire up bluetooth and WiFi, plug in the supplied cable and charger.2) Crank up the brightness.3) Run an app that is demanding on the device. I love drum apps and will drum along with my macpro playing iTunes on the MacPro and listening to the iPad via GarageBand so that it plays on the nice set of speakers.
