Ok I went to fox.com because I was wondering if the videos would play. I catch up on a few shows online, it says my player is not html5 compatible? I am being told that it is, so what is it yes or no lol
View 11 RepliesNeed a bit of help here with something that is to be honest driving me mad.I went on to game trailers.com. and clicked one of there videos, the halo reach one, and I get the now customary "click here to play on ipod"(PIC 1), now I do remember some time ago, that it did indeed used to play ok that way.but me and a friend just been discussing something and I have this problem were now for some reason when I now click on one of the ipod links, I get a white page with "click here to download, or play in media player"(PIC 2)
The funny thing is my friend clicked the same video and his played fine.It has also happened on a few other occasions on other sites to.So can someone please tell me why this has started happening, and how do I get back to playing my Html5 videos on my Ipad.
I visit GiantBomb and Tested.com all the time, and they're both very important to me. I know GiantBomb has an iPhone app but it hasn't been updated in over a year and the video quality was terrible to begin with.
So basically I really need to be able to view their Flash videos on the iPad. Is there some kind of a trick or a website I can go to view/convert any flash video into HTML5?
Before update I was able to watch YouTube videos in YouTube's html5 player right from different websites, now I can't watch html5 embeded youtub videos anymore. After update, html5 youtube videos don't play anymore.) I posted the same issue on YouTube's support forums

View 3 RepliesI'm hoping that someone in the community could enlighten me on this one, as I'm at a total loss.I have several movies that aren't being copied to my iPad because "the video format is not supported by the iPad".
Here is the odd thing about this. I have other movies that are copied over just fine. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what the difference is!Here's an example of information on two movies, one that copies and one that doesn't:
Copies:
Format: H.264, 720 x 304, Millions, AAC, 2 Channels, 44100 Hz..FPS: 23.98..Data Size: 1.26 GB..Data Rate: 1,612.04 kbit/s
Doesn't Copy:
Format: H.264, 720 x 400, Millions, AAC, 2 Channels, 44100 Hz..FPS: 23.98..Data Size: 1.05 GB..Data Rate: 1,625.06 kbit/s
What really sends me into a tail spin about this is that I can stream the movies that won't copy to my iPad using AirVideo without any conversion!I have other movies that successfully copy that are both bigger and smaller (both file size and resolution, at least the 400 dimension), so I don't see either of those as being issues.

I'm the Product Manager for a company who has a product that revolves around video. We've noticed that while we can get the HTML5 video capability in Safari on the iPad working fine in a test harness, as soon as we place that harness in the simplest of framesets (with the video area clearly visible), the video's "play" command no longer works. Oddly enough, the video object's properties can be read/written, but it appears that the "play" function itself does not work (and presumably the pause and load functions). The frustrating thing is that the video does appear to be loading - if you change currentTime to a different position, you can see the video frame at that position.

My iPad is not streaming video it used to but today I have tried oved 20 videos but it will still not work this is like the 10th problem I have had with my iPad and I have only had it for 8 days many of the problems have been wifi related.
