Unable To Enter Text In Certain Forum Dialog Boxes Like Java?

On certain forums and sites, I am unable to click on a dialog box and enter text. When I click in the box, it either highlights the line or the whole box but does not allow me to enter any text - the keyboard does not appear. I do not have an option to paste text either. The text/dialog boxes look similar to the one I am writing in right now. For my online classes, I use Moodle, and that's one of the sites that causes this issue. It was an issue also on my iPhone but I was hopeful that it would work differently on the iPad.
There are two methods I've found to enter text. One is through HTML and the second is unreliable -sometimes if I click in the box while I refresh, I can get the keyboard to pop up.

I have a fairly new iPad 2, keep it updated, and sync a couple mail accounts, one being yahoo mail. I don't use the yahoo calendar, just yahoo email. Starting a few days ago, when I unlock my iPad, I get a dialog box asking me to enter my password for CalDAV. I don't want to use the yahoo calendar as I sync with iCal on my Mac using iCloud. How I can get rid of this pesky pop-up that keeps asking for a password?

How To Better Navigate In Text Boxes?

Does anyone know any better way to navigate through text boxes or even the address bar? For example, I use GoodReader a lot and have a beast of a time getting my cursed to the beginning of my address bar. The problem is when you click on the address bar (or any text box) that is where the cursor goes (obviously) but there is no easy way to move the cursor to a location in the text that cannot be seen (like the beginning of the address bar). If anybody has ideas or methods please share!

I am new to the iPad, and I am using my new "new iPad." I do a lot of text entry, mainly in Safari, but in other apps as well. Occasionally, I will touch a text box, the keyboard pops up on the screen and I begin to type, but the cursor remains in place. I hear the clicking sound from typing, but no text appears, and none of the virtual keys do anything. If I touch the button to make the keyboard disappear and then touch elsewhere in the same text box, it usually works.

how to be able to enter/modify text in an HTML source code box? I can select all of the other text boxes and edit them with no issues but as soon as I go to select source code box it will not allow me to go into it to edit. The ecommerce platform, big commerce, can't tell me why this is the only box I can't edit on an iPad Mini. I have tried it in Safari, chrome, Opera and Mercury but it will still not allow that box to be edited on a tablet but works fine on a PC.

I hope this topic hasn't been "done to death", I find that many boxes that you would normally use a mouse to scroll through, don't work on iPad. Is there a work around for this? Is the flaw on behalf of those websites or the iPad?

We have a WPA network here at work which uses ASCII characters for the key code.
How do I enter those in the iPad? Is there a way to copy and paste it?
Some of the characters are not standard characters so they can't be typed, unless there is a way to do a ASCII code (alt+130 for example) on the iPad.

I've got the beta of 4.2.1 on my iPad and it came up this morning with the "connect to iTunes screen" now that the official release is out, problem is, when I connect to iTunes it can't access the iPad because of the pincode lock and I can't enter the pincode because of the "connect to iTunes screen"... I had a look over prior posts but couldn't see anything... I've tried turning it off again, plugging in when turned off, hard reset all with no luck...
