Unable To Delete Photos From Albums Synced From ITunes
Jul 30, 2010
How do you delete photos out of the albums on the Ipad? I see if you go to saved folders, it allows you to delete. But if u go to one of the albums that was synced from the computer(Itunes), the "delete" button doesn't show up. Also, if it can be done on the iPad itself n not from iTunes.
I would greatly appreciate some assistance on this matter ASAP. Lol
I got pix I don't want my woman to see that got sync'd on accident. ;-). LMFAO. N we leaving in a couple hrs. On a lil road trip. So I know she gnna mess wit my iPad while I'm driving.

Now, I want to have 2 more albums , but there is no way putting those 2 albums, without deleting the existing albums. So , I want to have the backup of those existing albums, but there is no way.

IPad :: Delete Photos Synced Through ITunes When Option No Longer Available?

I have a late 2010 MBP that had a hard drive crash a month or so ago. I had a hint this was coming, and the same hint lead me to believe I'd also corrupted my time machine backup. Both hunches turned out to be correct, so as a precaution I synced my important photos to my iPad, so that there would at least be a copy of them somewhere.
Fast forward to now. My time machine backup was indeed corrupted and I'm having to manually restore all of my iPhoto events from the one set of masters that were recoverable. I have the photos on the iPad for reference, so although this is painstakingly slow, I'm getting there. I just have one problem. I've maxed out the space on my iPad with photos, so as I reconstruct the iPhoto events I'd like to be able to delete the appropriate photos from the iPad and free up some space. However, since the MBP had its HD replaced, it now won't sync with the iPad wirelessly. I could plug it in, but given that not all the iPhoto events are on my HD, I'm worried I'll over write them, and then not be able to use them as a reference to reconstruct those still missing in iTunes.
So, how to delete the photos that were synced via iTunes, without actually plugging it in to iTunes now? Is there a third part app perhaps?
iPad 2 - iOS 5. I want to delete some albums from Photos. The manual says select edit and a stop sign will appear next to the albums, it doesn't!Only thing that happens when I pressed edit, is a "New Album" icon appears. I can rearrange albums, but that is all.
I have a whole bunch of albums and photos on my iPad 1, which I have imported from my son's Mac. Since I am not satisfied with all the pictures an albums anymore I repeatedly tried to delete them, which I could not proceed. Is there any way to do so without using my son's Mac again?
I was thinking of using my iPad to view photos taken with my SLR.Just a few quick questions before I run out and buy anything:Once you import photos/videos can you delete them directly on the iPad to free up space (and delete blurry pics, etc.)? I know you can't delete photos synced from the computer on the iPad, just like on the iPhone (right?).When syncing back to the computer from the iPad are the photos unchanged? In other words: Full resolution? Still in RAW format if they were imported that way? Still retaining all EXIF data unchanged?
Can you transfer imported photos from your iPad to ANY computer running iTunes? I normally sync with my home computer, but I'd like to transfer photos to my laptop while on the go.
I was playing with new iPad and plugged the cord into the USB port on PC thinking it would charge from the power on The laptop but it brought up iTunes and so I proceeded to play with this and ended up sending a file of photos from my PC to the iPad but now I cannot delete them. When I mark any photo from my PC the delete boon does not light up but if I mark any photo taken with the iPad it will light up and only delete that photo. how to delete the another photos.?
