Unable To Download Books- No Option Available On Itunes
I was told before I bought my iPad that I would be able to download free apps. that would download books from Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I don't see those apps on iTunes. Was the salesperson mistaken?

Get Option To Download Remaining But When Select It Nothing Happens
I've received a few emails on my iPad through my Gmail account which come up with this message at the bottom of the email: this message is only partially downloaded.I get the option to download remaining but when I select it nothing happens.I've googled this error and seen a lot of people have come across it but couldnt find a solution.Also, I read some people delete the mail account then re-add it. However when I go to my mail settings my gmail account is greyed out too and I can't change anything to do with it and seemingly can't even add another account to my iPad.

IOS: Applications Purchased From The App Store Don't Have Re-download Option?
I have free apps as well as paid apps that have disappeared from my iPad. When I look them up in the app store they all say installed except for one. None of them have a redownload button. The one that does not say installed has the price in the bar but it is lighter than normal. When I push it nothing happens. It is like they are all in limbo. I contacted customer service and they are refunding my 2 paid apps but I wanted to rebuy them but can't.

i have ordered my new ipad but have not received it yet. can you download books from ibooks and kindle to my itunes before i get it so all i have to do is sync the ipad?, or does the downloads need to go through ipad?

Newsstand In-app Purchasing Store Has No Background Download Option?
The Newsstand in-app purchasing store has no background download option? Why would they let me babysit a 300-500mb download without being able to do anything else? I just switched to another app and when i switched back to the Newsstand magazine in-app the download went back to 0 again. The same happens when the iPad screen shut's off automatically and when you switch it back on the download is back at 0.

Download Free Kaplan Books
I downloaded a bunch of Kaplan textbooks on my iPhone when they had the free download promo last month. I just bought an iPad and want to download those books again.... will I have to pay, or will they be free, since I 'technically' purchased them previously under the same account? Or is there a way to move the books I downloaded on my iPhone onto my iPad using iTunes?

New Owner - Download School Books
I bought my wife a new Ipad because she wants to go back to school to finish her bachelor. I figured she can just download her school books and it would be less to carry to around in school. Well, I should have research first, because the books she needs for her school is not available from I books or Kindle.sucks. Anyway, the Ipad is now mine. and I love it.

Different E-book Formats - Download Books
Our family has had iPhones around for a few years, but I've just bought a couple of iPads for my wife and daughter for Christmas. My wife, I'm sure, will be heavily utilizing the e-book-ness of the device.We're all very new to the iPad. I realize I can go to the iBooks Store and download books from there. I can also install the Amazon Kindle app and download books from the Kindle Store. I know I can sync the iPad on my computer and then sync books to iPad-2 which were purchased on iPad-1. But, what about the Kindle app books. Is there any way to get those from one iPad to the other without repurchase?

Can't Download EPub Books From Library
I tried to checkout a couple of books online from my local library. When I download them (using safari) I get an error saying that safari can't open the link. The library also offers a program called Overdrive to use for downloads, but it's also a media manager. I can't figure out how to get the ebook into iBooks, they stay in Overdrive.

Download Books From Barnes&Noble?
To my iPad? I'm thinkin not. There are 8 books I want that are in my Nook library at B&N. I sold my Nook, when I got my iPad and now I want my books. I can download them again, but to my computer, apparently. I will never find them after I download them, I know it. How to get them on my iPad? I don't suppose one can download directly to iTunes....or if anyone has a magic wand?

Can't Logon To The Hotel Wifi To Download Any Books?
I bought my iPad on holiday to read books, but I can't because: 1. I can't logon to the hotel wifi to download any books. It's run by Intertouch. I've rung their helpline and they can't help. Some posts on other forums say it's because it runs on Cisco gear. I don't know. 2. You can't download iBooks directly onto your computer. I have the internet running fine via ethernet in my room. Ever since I upgraded my IPAD 2 to I0S5 I can't download books to my kindle/amazon app. what do i need to do to get the books to download and open? I have tried deleting the kindle icon and reinstalling it.I tried deleting all the books and redownloading.Whenever I try to open, it gives me an error message and to reinstall.Is it because I need an Icloud acccount?

Comic Books And Network Attached Storage - Download Content Directly From My NAS
I'm buying an iPad 32gb WiFi next week and was hoping one of you knowledgable gentleman/ladies can tell me if what I'm buying it for can actually be done. I love comic books and have lots (about 400gb worth of cbr's and cbz's) on a NAS (Netgear Stora with a 2tb hard drive) shared over my home network. I'm planning on buying an iPad in order to read them around the house (and on the move by tthering it to a Nokia 5800, but that's a different and less important problem). What I'd like to do is get the comics directly from my NAS without having to use my PC as a middleman. I'm pretty sure that the iPad won't be able to open the files directly from the NAS and that I'll have to download them onto the iPad in order to read them. Can I download content directly from my NAS to my iPad? Can I 'load' the content into an app (Comic Zeal) using iTunes without having to plug the iPad into my computer? If I can do this and I manage to tether the iPad to my phone for 3g and I set my NAS to have a static IP would I be able to do this anywhere I like?(hotel, on the road etc.) And finally (and I'm pretty sure this can't be done) is there a way I can click a comic book on the NAS and read it on the iPad without downloading it? Kind of like opening a pdf in internet explorer (sorry for the PC-centric example, this is my first forray into Apple tech). If it makes any difference, my PC is running the dreaded Windows 7 Home Premium, making life extraordinarily over-difficult for Microsoft's customers since 2009.

No Photo Option Shows In My ITunes ?
I'm trying to get photos from my laptop on to my iPad.According to a article I read there is supposed to be a folder in iTunes for pictures, and then I just drag and drop.I'm not seeing any folder called "photos" or "pictures". I'm sure I'm overlooking something.

I think it would be more convenient to browse for eBooks directly from iTunes rather than the iPad.Any way to do this? Each time I type in a book title in iTunes AppStore, it's listed in the results in the "Books" section where they don't list anything. They say "Books related to your search can ALSO be downloaded on iPad with iBooks". The "also" means this is an alternate solution. So how do I get my books from iTunes? What's the iBooks store alternative suggested by "also"?Does the "also" mean "only"??? Information: HP 6730b Windows 7

PC With Windows 7 - When Syncing With Itunes The Photo Option
I use a PC with windows 7 but when syncing my Ipad with itunes the photo option only allows me to sync either the main folder (my pictures) or a specific folder within my pictures. I believe apple users can select albums in the photo area but not pc users.I am unable to select folders within folders to be synced this means I have an all or nothing choice when selecting photos to display on the ipad. I assume this is the same for iphone.Ideally Itunes should allow one to select multiple folders to be synced in photos like they do with music.

ITunes Option/Sync Apps Becomes Unchecked?
What causes this option to become unchecked, I never intentionally uncheck this option in iTunes, but it has happened more than once. Does updating an app on the iPad rather than always through iTunes cause this? It is a major pain now, because if I manually check the option again, it wants to wipe out all my apps and their data. This is a pain mostly because of the ToDo app that I use a lot has a lot of data, and to resync that data is not smooth using the backup synced to Toodledo, their free option for syncing. Can I somehow re-enable syncing apps without having to wipe out my ToDo app and its data? Information: Built from purchased parts Windows 7 64 bit OS

Frozen Itunes Download - Remaining Doenloads Possible To Download ?
For unknowned reason, when i downloaded an item from itunes, it created a blank icon in my ipad files with "waiting" written below. Possibly the download froze half way done.When i try to select all items on the page to try delete that particular icon it is the only one that is not chosen Thus impossible to delete. Would anyone knows how i could delete that icon from my ipad !

ITunes Deselecting PDF Books Randomly
I've got a weird quirk that occurs when I'm syncing through iTunes in that it randomly deselects some or even all of my PDF's before I sync. So I have to go back and select them all again, then hope they stay selected long enough to actually get synced!

Can't Sync Audio Books From Itunes On MAC
I have many audio books purchase via Itunes all in my itunes account on my mac. I can't seem to sync these successfully on my ipad. I have checked the sync all audiobooks option on the books tab when my ipad is connected to the mac, but nothing ever seems to sync to the ipad. Info: iPad, iOS 5.0.1
