Like many people I have more than 1 apple computer.
1 old iMac (main computer with iTunes)
1 mac mini (we use this for our tv as a streaming device only)
1 MacBook air (spare laptop used by my eldest son .... Old office computer)
Now the more important issue We all really like to use our iOS devices.Myself and my wife both have iPhones and iPads .... And my son has an original old iPhone he likes to use for games etc. Here is my question, I am not sure how I am supposed to setup all 5 iOS devices in terms of the app store. Obviously my wife has different app needs to myself and my son is too young to be able to have his own account. And since I generally pay for the family, can I set up all 5 iOS devices to the same app store account? Or will this cause a conflict?
I bought an apple TV and I want to connect my ipad, iphone to my apple TV. The problem is I can't set up home sharing on any of my apple devices. I don't see home sharing button on my itunes, not on my macbook pro, not on iphone or ipad. what should I do?
View 1 RepliesI use my iPad for school, and the teachers wanted us to turn of iMessages, (in settings) so I did. When I came home I tried to log in again, I logged in with my apple ID and then I typed in my email and it said verifying. I though oh, it has to verify it again. I waited for a bit and it came up with email not found. I pressed check email (apple sent a email to the email I typed in above it) and no email. I tried it with my second email and it did the same. I tried this about 20 times. It's my birthday now and I would be epic if this worked again. (I love iMessages)

Can I receive iMessages using another email address in iPad3? What are the steps for doing it?

View 7 RepliesI have the exchange email setup and it works when I am onsite using the company server, but I can only receive email. I create and send email and nothing happens. I have the account setup just like my outlook on my desktop machine. Like I said within the company network. I get my email and calendar, but can't send email.
The other issue is I can't setup email for outside of the network. We have blackberry service (not an enterprise server) and I use the same: [URL] and I get the error that it can't identify the account. I really need to be able to get my email and calendar on my ipad2. My blackberry works great, just confused and I might be switching an iPhone soon for work.
I finally got my email set up and was wondering how can I get my email both on my Windows computer and on the IPAD?

View 1 RepliesIs it possible to check email on one device and not have to receive it on others? I have an iPhone and iPad and MacBook and when I check email on one of the devices the same email shows up on the other devices so I was wondering if there was any way that I can check my email one time and not have to delete it from my other devices.
View 5 RepliesI have a Cox Business internet account (business accounts are different from residential accounts - different servers, etc) with a static ip address and I cannot send email from my iPad via wi-fi Airport network. (Wi-Fi only iPad, not 3G.)There was a time when I had it working, but a simple one sentence email would take over 10 minutes to send. It was odd. Now it's not sending at all.My incoming email is through my business email account (via GoDaddy) and it works well. No issues.Currently, the outgoing settings on my iMac work great for my iMac, but don't seem to translate to the iPad.
View 6 RepliesI am not able to setup my email account to synch with my home ISP. It is pop3 and smtp mail servers. My iPad keeps giving me an error message saying it cannot setup ssl. There is no option for ssl to my Isp mail servers. Has anyone expirenced this and how did you successfully setup.

View 1 RepliesThe Genius at the Apple store set up my Yahoo email on my new iPad (I have the new one). When I got home, it would not update emails. I have an iPhone and a MacBook and they are both working fine. I deleted the account and tried to reinstall it, but it won't let me. I keep getting a message that the server isn't responding. My Yahoo password has no special characters (I read in a forum that can be a problem). I spent nearly two hours on the phone with an Apple Care genius who had no solution.

I just bought the new iPad and put it under my wife's Apple ID. Her email account setup quickly and works fine. I want to be able to access my email account on the iPad and tried to add it. The name now shows as a new mailbox, but it did not ask for my password, so it is not connecting to AOL or showing anything in the inbox. What do I need to do in order to set up my email address in addition to my wife's?

I have a client who has a new Ipad and you can only see so much email listed, is there a way to view more of the inbox. If you wanted to view more what was in the inbox is there a setting I need to turn on.
View 2 Repliesit was easy on my macs and my iphone, but I've spent the better part of a day trying to create one successful POP email address on my iPad (for an existing account I use right at my desk) through my company server, with my ISP as secondary server. It begins with difficulties verifying at creation of account under "Other", then it asks if I want to try without SSL, I do, it can't verify, but I set up anyways, and then go to the settings and begin trying every darn possibility and variable under names, usernames, passwords, ports, etc. I swear I'd pay someone $100 bucks right about now to whisper the secret solution in my ear. I've deleted the account, started new, called my ISP liaison to verify their secondary server information, etc. It just shoudn't be this hard. I'm now in one of my every three years or so hating apple modes...a regular occurence since, well, 1984. Any thoughts or questions would be appreciated, and I'll feedback with settings, etc. It's gotta be one tiny little thing . Macs, iPhone, iPad
