Aug 30, 2010I am having trouble figuring out how to sync my email from iPad to Outlook 2007. I want all messages and folders to sync - so that I don't constantly have duplicates everywhere. Would ideally like to do this with my iPhone too but finding syncing both is causing some loss of other data.
Is there a way to do this without Microsoft Exchange Server?

May 5, 2010I need a fix for a difficult problem with my Outlook calendar when it synchs with my iPad.All the information comes across to my iPad Ok except for the dates of my 'all day events' which appear ONE DAY BEFORE the correct date on my PC! If my appointments have a start and finish time then they will be on the correct date in my iPad but if I have an all day event (of which I have many) then every one is a day early!I have Outlook 2007 SP2 MSO. I run Win XP Home on a Dell PC Latitude X1 laptop. My iPad came from Boston, MA but I live in England. One hint or perhaps a red herring is that my problem might be the difficulty that I had convincing my iPad which time zone I was in as it kept switching from Boston to London while I was in the USA but now I am back in London it seem happy to stay here.

Jun 6, 2010My itunes already update and works fine on all iPAD application.. Evething work fines other then OUTLOOK 2007. itunes could see OUTLOOK and my address folder, but when sync between iTunes and iPAD, it simply ignore my calendar and address book sync.... it just check music, movie, photo... but not my data.
I already reinstall OUTLOOK 2007, itunes latest version and recovery my iPAD, still not success.

IPad 2 :: Tasks / Reminders From Emails?
Mar 24, 2012I have a 64gb iPad 2 running iOS 5.1 which I use for work. My mail is synchronised with the office server and I can access that on my Windows laptop or my iPad. When I receive a new email that I need to either reply to (ie it's not just an information email) or perform an action in order for it to be considered complete, I can set it as a task in Windows, set a coloured reminder, flag a reminder to pop onto my screen etc - ie loads of ways to highlight to me that this needs to be actually actioned.
With the iPad I can't do anything with the email, I can mark it unread or go to reminders myself and type a 'manual' reminder referencing this email but that seems about it.Is there any way, or app, that I can either create a reminder/task straight to reminders from the email or, at the very least, do something to differentiate it from the rest of the emails in my inbox (even highlighting it in a colour would do)?
I'm resorting to creating a subfolder called "To do" and manually moving these there for the minute but a reminder / task, which I've had the ability to set on Windows Outlook since the 90's, seems impossible on the iPad.

Feb 5, 2012Has anyone had success syncing their iPad with Outlook 2007?I have tried iTunes/Info and thought I could at least sync contacts, calendar and notes - but it does nothing.I have resorted to using mobile.me for the contacts and calendar functions, but it would be uber-cool to sync my notes and tasks from outlook as well.Is there another app that could be used? I've searched and only found separate PIM apps.Is there a workaround I could apply?

Nov 6, 2010Since Day 1, I cannot sync notes to my Ipad from Outlook.It says that it's syncing notes, but it ain't doing anything.This is every since I got my ipad. When I was using my Itouch in the pastit was working just fine.Even notes created on my Ipad, will not sync to my outlook.Tried even a clean install, of Windows 7 and Outlook, and setup Itunes to sync notes from Outlook, but no luck.

Apr 18, 2010Just got an iPad and installed iTunes9 on an Win-Vista box for "validation". It crashed an Outlook 2007 install that had been stable for years. "Crash" means that Outlook attempt to open, flash a screen then disappears, and I can no longer open Outlook. It seems that the problem comes from buggy Apple SYNC dll's. Re-installation of Outlook will not solve the problem, only uninstall of iTunes9 will allow my mission-critical Outlook to operate ... but then, how do you even access iPad without iTunes, as iTunes9 is needed to recognize iPad ? Any idea how to solve that issue ?Problem found with Win-Vista/XP and Outlook 2007/2003/2000; I had no problem in the past with previous iTunes and iPod.

Outlook 2007 Email Account Process Sticks On Verifying
May 27, 2012I have just purchased an i pad 2 and am having trouble with the e-mail setup. Set up with wi-fi, i-cloud etc has worked fine but the i pad is recognizing my outlook 2007 account details but is not verifying it. The trouble appears to be with the outgoing server and I have tried changing the port number, but to no avail! Also reset the account settings for holding messages on the server. Any suggestions?

Jul 12, 2010I've recently upgraded to office 2007 (yes i know it's 2010) and I'm using Exchange on my iPad/iPhone and now Notes will not sync. iTunes says it's syncing but after about 20 minutes I usually just cancel the sync. Not sure if it's related to iTunes or office. I know others that are using office 07 and not seeing any issue.

Aug 25, 2011We are currently having trouble getting an iPad to sync with Outlook (Exchange environment, Win7). Both the user's notes and contacts sync fine, but the calendar remains empty despite iTunes displaying a "Synchronizing Calendar" message.We already tried resetting the sync history, make iTunes replace all calendar entries on the next sync, and disabling the Exchange Cache mode. We are using the latest version of iTunes as we did a fresh install yesterday. Synching my own calendar to my iPhone works fine so I don't think it's an issue with our Exchange setup.

Jan 4, 2011When iPad2 get released and I can justify buying a 2nd iPad (1 for home use and 1 strictly for business use) I want to officially eliminate using a "paper" calendar at work and home. Until now I have never used iCal or calendar on iPad or iPhone. I've just kept an outlook calendar at work and a paper business planner (dayrunner style).
I want to get out of the stone age and begin to go digital w/everything. My needs are as follows and looking for suggestions and/or apps to meet my needs.
1. Outlook is not sync-able from work since they do not allow personal use devices to sync w company calendars. So I will enter appts/contacts manually into either my MacBook pro/iPad/iPhone but wish everything to sync up wirelessly via wifi (3G not necessary). When In range of wifi obviously.
2. Same goes as above with a "to do" list. Either an app or a calendar w this functionality (must have alerts). I'm talking a line-item style list not just as appt times in a calendar. So I can check things off and add throughout the day and week.
I think the biggest thing is not having to hard-wire sync my devices is the biggest thing I need. And see calendar and to do alerts on both iPad and iPhone is a must, even when phone is in my pocket and iPad in office.
