Apr 14, 2012I'd like to be able to start a draft email message in OS X Mail and be able to edit it further and send it in iOS Mail, and vice versa. How can I do this using Gmail or a different IMAP server?

View 7 RepliesI was writing a lengthy e-mail this morning on my desktop computer. I saved it as a Draft and then took my iPad over to Starbucks where I wanted to proof the e-mail, add a little more text, and then send it. Now that I'm at Starbucks I can see the Draft message, but I see no way to continue editing it, or even sending it.Is there a trick to working with Drafts?
View 2 RepliesI want to be able to sync all my e-mail messages from my Mac to my Ipad.I am using Apple Mail client on my Mac.
View 1 RepliesI opened a draft email on my ipad2. Now I cannot close it, the 'send' and 'cancel' buttons are grayed out. Therefore, I cannot get to my email anymore. I deleted my email account and reloaded it, and it came back exactly the same, draft open and grayed out buttons. This is an exchange email account. The draft email does not exist on any other device, just the ipad at this point. How do I get out of this so I can use my email?

I started an email, saved a draft, and now can't open the draft to finish editing or send. I see that I have 1 draft, but it is gray-ed out and won't open.

Since the most recent update I can't get my ipad to leave a copy of email messages on the server so I can download it later on my PC. It appears to be mainly a problem with my gmail account.

View 2 RepliesOn my iPad, previously downloaded messages stay in my Inbox and accumulate. Is this supposed to happen? Like most iPad/iPhone native apps, Mail is terribly documented, so who knows if that is designed behavior or not. My settings are set to show 100 most recent messages, and the max option is 200, but I have more than 900 emails in my inbox. On my iPhone when new messages are downloaded, the Inbox is flushed first and then the most recent are loaded.
View 5 RepliesI can open the email site, but can't open any of my messages. It keeps on registering that I got new messages, it won't let me read them. What do I need to do to unlock my messages?
View 3 RepliesMy iPad 2 has an Exchange account with a number of emails (and contacts and calendar) that have been downloaded from the exchange server. I no longer have access to the mail server for this account and need to export the email messages that are still on the iPad to my PC. I do not need to export the calendar or contacts. There is software that will allow me to export Outlook .pst files TO the iPad, but i need to do it the other way round and export the email messages from the iPad to a .pst file on my PC.
There are over 450 folders and sub folders, and over 2,500 individual emails, so forwarding the email messages won't work, and won't preserve the folder structure.
My email content is blank on all emails
Info:iPad, iOS 4.1
The" Load more messages" button not working, cannot view all messages
