My iPad for no reason will just start loading things. I will turn it on and log on to the main screen then all of a sudden it will act like someone just started pressing on everything randomly. I have tried resetting it to factory settings, different cases, currently I am using the Griffin Survivor. It happens almost everytime I try to use it.

I just received my ipad that i bought from ebay but when i turned it on all i see is and itunes icon and and usb plug... so i don't know what to do.is it suppose to be like that? The manual said to connect to itunes but i'm scared to do it because i'm planing to jailbreak it so if i connect to itunes is it gonna download the latest version automatically?
View 10 RepliesWhen I first opened my iPad and turned it on, I got an iTunes icon and a picture of a USB cable. So, I fired up iTunes 9.1 and plugged it in. NOTHING HAPPENED FWIW, I did not delete the plist files.I rebooted, emptied the Trash, re-installed iTunes, and reconnected my iPad. This time, it appeared under "Devices" like it is supposed to Kudos for Apple Support. I told the rep I would post here about it.

My iPad is 6 months old now. no problems until this morning.
This morning it would not start. I made sure i charged it all night. pressed and held the power button for 10 seconds and still i don/t see anything on the screen.
What is the next step for me to do?
Does Apple provide repair to it for free after 6 motnhs. How long is the gaurantee period?

I had my IPad on, then turned it off. A minute later, I went to turn it on again and it wouldn't turn on. I plugged it in thinking it might have a low battery and it a) won't turn on even though plugged in and b) didn't make the little noise that it usually does when it is plugged in and charging. It is the original IPad and about 4 months old.

I've got 4,2 loaded onto my ipad and if I go into General Settings>>About it confirms this with Version 4.2.1(8c148), BUT the only visible change is Game Centre being added to my desktop?
Nothing else has changed -there's no multi-tasking etc. I've tried rebooting -no difference. What is going on?

I bought a jailbroken iPad Wifi-Only 16 GB version yesterday and I've tested everything in it and it appeared that there's a problem with appstore.
When I open the appstore on my iPad it keeps loading and never stops ! I have a slow internet connection (20 kb/s).

I have a PDF document that I would like to load on the Ipad2 and have it show up as an icon on the main screen so you can select it at anytime. How do I go about packaging this up as to load it on the Ipad2 in this way. I can open it via an email but I would like to have it as an icon that is always available.

Since upgrading to ios5 my mail has loaded a bunch of old messages. Every time I go to clear out old messages, new ones load from my server. I don't want to delete these from my server, just don't want them on my iPad. Is there some way to limit the "reloading" of old messages when I delete messages from a mail account?

But when I call the html in iPad ,the pdf document is not loading and am seeing a blank window. I'm a new bee to iPad. I have a DVD containing Apps for the New Ipad, but when I attempt to load them via my PC an error message appears on the Ipad screen syaing, "App not loaded correctly". Itunes shows the icons for the various Apps, but not on the Ipad itself. I've tried syncing the two without success.
