Show A Presentation On Multiple Ipads At The Same Time?
May 11, 2012
I am running a presentation in a few months time and would like to mirror our presentation live on a number of Ipads at the same time. Currently we are most likely to use Prezi as the presentation format. Is this possible?
How do you keep apps organized across multiple iPads or other iDevices? We have 3 iPhones, 2 Touches, 2 iPads. My daughter keeps managing to screw up everyone's app folders when she syncs. What are we missing to prevent this?
We have more then one iPad. Can we use one iTunes account so I do not have to buy games and songs more then once? Also, 3 people are on one iTunes account. How do we avoid our iMessages being shown on each device?
I am searching for a way to utilize Apple iPads to communicate critical information to technicians and musicians wirelessly. The room is a Karaoke club with a lead tech, an 8 piece live band and two technicians on two separate levels. The show utilizes synced audio tracks sent to the audio booth in the center of the room, a click track sent to the drummer and the lyrics are sent to video monitors on stage. When a song is requested from the guests, the tech back stage uploads the song from the computer. The selected song needs to be transmitted to everyone before the song is played (so the band can pull up song charts, audio tech can preset board, and lighting cues too).
Right now, the room is using a dry erase board off stage. It is difficult for the band to clearly see the song title, however... the two techs operating the sound and lighting off stage do not know the song until the band starts playing.
Is there an app where multiple people can communicate with each other simultaneously through iPads? I would like to be able to network 5 iPads through a "private wireless router" that is not connected to the internet to deliver "TEXT" based information to the areas throughout the room.
I downloaded the digital copies of two movies to my itunes account. I can see the movies on my MacBook Pro. I hooked up my daughter's ipads to put the movies on them and though when I click the movie to apply, it shows video taking up space on their ipads, the "apply" or sync doesn't actually put it on.
Their ipads sync with my MacBook Pro, but they each have their own itunes accounts. How do I get the movies onto their ipads?
Just wondering if I have a PowerPoint presentation, am I able to project it to a number of iPads, so that a panel of conference participants can follow my presentation them. I will not have access to wifi and am wondering if bluetooth will cope. Can I do this from a PC/laptop or do I run it from one iPad and send it across to other viewing ipads?
I am working on a presentation that will be presented on three iPads. One for the presenter and the other two for the audience. The presenter wants to control the presentation across all devices with their iPad. Is this possible or will each audience member have to advance their own slides?
I am ready to buy an iPad. One way I am helping to convince myself to get it, is so I can incorporate it into work. My home life is Macbook, Nano and iPhone 4. My work life is PC (bleck). I am a teacher.
Can I do Powerpoint presentations, put these on the iPad and hook it up to a flat screen TV and use the TV as a screen to show the presentations?
DOes the Powerpoint have to run through Keynote? (Guessing I would buy Keynote App to use?).
Do I need to have Keynote on my Macbook?
Is there anyway that Outlook calendar can "communicate" with the iPad? Meaning can I get information from Outlook calender to the iPad and vice versa?
I can remotely access my email on my Macbook using Citrix applications. Can I do this using the iPad also?
My place of work has wi-fi available if that makes a difference.
Overall I am wondering if I need to purchase MobileMe and/or iLife.
can't admit when apple's screwed up. I love apple products. I've had every iPhone there was , Get a new macbook with each new model, but this? this is a sad excuse for apple creativity. the only way to make this work is to add flash and allow for multiple apps to run at the same time. because without those two, it's just an oversized iPhone that can't make calls. pointless.
When I receive multiple emails from Mail with pictures attached ,and I open them in Mail on my iPad2, iOS5.1, the first one opens and displays normally. The subsequent emails open but display the same photos as the first attachment. They all open and display just fine when I log into my gmail account through Safari.
We purchased 1 1Pad for the household to play with. We have 3 different iTunes accounts. How can we sync each of 3 different accounts to the same iPad? Is that even possible? Do you download the iTunes app 3 times?
We are looking for an App that will allow us to use the iPad as a static presentation tool. i.e. A customer comes up and has the option of touching a range of icons on the iPad that will start video, slideshow, etc. Is there anything like that around? Information:iPad
I was wondering if there is a way to use a dedicated presentation clicker to scroll through a presentation on the iPad. I don't want to use a iPhone or iPod. For those who have tried this it's very distracting not having a raised button on the phone screen. I've seen it done before where the presenter had an iPad on the podium (wirelessly connected to the screens) used as a prompter and what looked like the standard white apple remote in his hand. I understand that the apple remote is IR so I must be wrong about what was in in his hand. He never pointed this remote in any specific direction so I presume it was BT or wifi.
Could somebody tell me if there's a trick to copy & paste? Say if I'm on a website that has a web address I want to go to, but it's not linked, is there a trick to copying the address to paste in the address line? All I can seem to do is copy one word at a time.
On my iPod Touch when I'm viewing my emails, it simultaneously displays both of the email account's inboxes at once. Is there a way to do this on my iPad? Its a bit annoying jumping back between both of the accounts. The touch just seemed to do it automatically, would love to have them both displayed on my iPad.
