When I receive a message on my iPhone via text or iMessage, will it also send a copy to my iPad? If so is there a way to disable this? I see it can be turned off under settings, is there a way to use the service with a different account on the iPad?
View 1 RepliesDianna and I both have iPhone 4 and the new iPad. Shouldn't we be able to send/receive text messages between any of these devices? We can text from iPad to iPhone; however when we attempt to text from iPhone to iPad or iPad to iPad we get the "not registgered with iMessage" error. What's up with this? All of the devices have iMessage set to ON in the Messages Settings. Very frustraqting. We are texting to the iPad number in the General-About-Cellular Data Number as this is the only "phone" number for the iPad. If we have iMessage turned on for that iPad, it should be able to receive and send text messages via that number, correct?
