New Pictures Deleting Old Pictures?
Jun 22, 2010When I add new photos to my ipad from iTunes, it deletes the old photos on my ipad!!
Why is it doing that?

Pix from my iPhone have a "trash can" to delete them. Pix downloaded from a folder on my PC coming from a digital camera don't have that option.

Sep 10, 2010I am viewing my recently imported pictures. I may trash an unwanted picture only to find that other pictures not trashed are being trashed. For example, I view a pic slide to next picture and may choose to trash it. But when the trashing is done another unrelated picture not chosen to be trashed has been mistakenly deleted without me selecting delete. I can't recover the picture. Now I am worried to trash any unwanted picture because the ipad is trashing pictures recently viewed but not deleted.

Dec 31, 2011I see when I take pictures of my kids with the iPAD they go into an album called "camera roll". I create an album called kids for keeping the pictures of my kids. I can "move" the pictures from camera roll album to kids album but if I delete them off of camera roll it also deletes them from the kids album. Is the way it's supposed to work? At least with pictures taken withthe iPAD?

Apr 17, 2012Got to delete about 12000 pictures in the photo album for a cleanup operation. Any quick way to delete all with single command? Manually deleting by connecting to a PC and browsing to select the DCIM folder on ipad is taking too long (45 minutes).

Apr 14, 2012I was under the impression that the latest os sys. upgrade would fix the problem of deleting photos from your albums and individual pictures that are added when syncing. I still can't delete photos without going thru itunes, which is a cumbersome way of doing things. Anybody have a better way of deleting photos. I'm a new ipad user and everything I've tried doesn't work. It seems to me that this would be a simple fix by Apple.

Nov 6, 2010I purchased two books from IBooks store (both $12.99). "A Company of Heroes" is one. The books are excellent but do not contain any pictures that the hardcover editions have in my local bookstore. I could have bought the print versions for around $15.00,
now I feel it was a waste of $$. I checked all the settings and the addendum has a list of all photos in the book but no way to access them, if they are even there. Any thoughts

Downloaded Pictures To Ipad 2 With The Camera Kit Lost The Pictures
Jul 1, 2011I downloaded some pictures to my iPad 2 with the camera kit and it shows it imported them but when I go to camera roll they aren't there. I went into settings into Picture Frame and check marked "last imported" but I still don't see them in my camera roll. Did I miss a step? The only way I can view them is with the SD card plugged into the camera kit hooked into my iPad.

May 13, 2010When I try to download more folders of pictures, I lose the ones I already have. I used to see a menu that allowed me to select the folders but now I don't. I even restored my iPad hoping I could start over and see that menu but I can't.How can I load more pictures. That's the main reason I bought the darn thing.

I went to view and all folders were there but no pictures or thumbnails except those saved directly from emails. Tried sync 10x but said cannot sync because a file was missing. Getting Pictures On It With No PC
May 14, 2012My mom recently retired, returning her mac to her workplace, and bought herself a new iPad. The iPad essentially IS her "household computer", they have nothing else. Before she retired I backed up all of her pictures to an online storage. How can I get all of her pictures back on her iPad?
I'm looking for something she can do over the internet, so the camera connection kit is out (I live in New York and she lives in Florida). Ideally I would have her simply download the archives and walk her through unzipping them, but AFAIK Apple considers that too complicated for the average user and is therefore not an option.
Unable To See Pictures In My PDF
Aug 7, 2010I am an italian ipad user. I bought the ipad only to read and study my medical books in pdf, but I got a big problem. I don't know why but some pdf are working just fine, some other ones are can be read but only text is available.As I am a radiologist I need images, text is not sufficient. The strange thing is that the same file is fully available on a PC or on a Mac. The problem is solely on my IPAD.Can someone help me? I really need full access to my library.
