Log Into An Application Like FaceTime Of The New Texting Feature With IOS5 - Message - My Apple ID Is Already In Use
Oct 13, 2011
Everytime I try to log into an application like FaceTime of the new texting feature with IOS5 I get a message that says my Apple ID is already in use. This has been happening for a while so it is not an IOS5 issue.
Does FaceTime And The Apple Message App Work Internationally
Jul 5, 2012
I cannot log in to my Face Time or the Pple message app. I try to log in and it just keeps reverting back into the login page. I even went and changed my password to see if that would help.
After the iOS5 update and heavy use of Facetime, it just quits out and will not restart until I do a hard reset. Safari is the same. I have followed all the procedures to fix this issue which are heavily posted here but I could not resolve with these procedures. I use my iPad2 all day and night and Facetime is a major player for me. Anyone else have these issues with Apple apps? If so, have you found any resolutions to this besides the basics that have been posted?
Can anyone out there with an iPad running iOS5 beta take a look at the video application and see if they've made any improvements, particularly when browsing media libraries not saved locally on the iPad. I'm using home sharing to access a large movie and tv library on my desktop and it seems like the app is buggy and doesn't display items in order. It also shows duplicates of some shows. Anyway I'm just curious if they're trying to improve this. The remote application works great when displaying all my content just the native videos app doesn't seem to be as up to date.
Ever since I bought my iPhone and iPad, I've been using the Notes app extensively. It's very powerful, since I can jot down some small thoughts on my way to a meeting on my iPhone, and pick up during the meeting on my iPad. I totally love it! However, after using it for about half a year now, the place looks like a mess. The notes I make during meetings are in between groceries lists, to-do lists and personal notes on articles I read.
Would it be possible to make the Notes application more like the Reminders application? So that you can assign a category to a note, and view all notes from that category at the same time, the same way the Reminders app looks like on the iPad or iPhone. I know this would make a lot of users happy, especially now that the Notes app is being brought to iCloud and the Mac, which will only increase its popularity. Also, it would be awesome to be able to export a note to Reminder, iCal, Twitter or Facebook!
Feature Request - MultiTask Application Audio With Ability To Use Other Apps
Apr 7, 2010
Several nice apps such as Pandora and NPR allow for streaming audio, but if you leave the app, the audio stream stops. This is a poor experience. I would like to stream Pandora or NPR audio while also enjoying the rest of my iPad at the same time (browse in Safari, check out photos or email or maps for example). The only supported multitasking audio is from iTunes which is nice but this support should be extended to 3rd party apps that stream audio. My other suggestion would be to have the iPad allow for split screen so two apps can run and be viewed simultaneously, browser and calendar for example. There is enough screen nreal estate on the iPad to make this easily doable and a great user experience.
I have an Ipad2 and two sons with new IPod touches. We have a family account for apps and music and I have set up new apple ids for them for messaging and FaceTime. They are able to iMessage other family members (different accounts) and FaceTime each other but cannot message me or FaceTime me. I am the primary account holder.
Activating Message And FaceTime App - Cannot Login?
Apr 20, 2012
I just got my new IPad this week and I'm very frustrated on activating the message app also the facetime app. It seems it says have to log-in with your apple I'd to activate but always when I log in it always bounces back tithe log-in section.
Hey maybe we should get a list of sites working that integrate with built in iPad features such as the video player which did not make the apple list. Starting the list Rooster teeth production (ie red vs blue)
When the ipod touch got the kindle app that was motivation for me to go get one. I had a kindle for about a year and half and once I started reading on the touch I sold my kindle on ebay. I would love to get the ipad but after going and looking at it decided against it - too big and heavy - would like a mid size between the touch and pad and lighter weight. So why isn't the ibookstore available for touch? I have B&N and Kindle books and can read just fine - sorry apple - not impressed by ipad or apps.

Why Doesn't Apple Make An Ipad/iphone/ipod Feature To Prevent Unwanted Shutdowns
Jun 29, 2012
I am sure that everywhere in the world Iphones get lost or stolen on a daily basis. It is true that icloud lets you monitor where your phone is at all times, but unfortunately if someone decides to steal your iphone and shut it down this feature is rendered useless. What is the point of having icloud if someone can just shut the device off and just go get it jailbroken to prevent further action? If there would be a simple feature resembling the screen lock (asking for a password when the shutdown sequence is initiated) all these problems could be averted and it would give us time to find our devices. So what do we have to do to make it happen? Is there an app with this feature?
