View 1 RepliesThe last post I saw indicated it was impossible to sync the MS calendar to the iPad. Is that still true? What is a good 3rd part app that does not require Google or some other online site?

I checked everything in the info tab on itunes and performed numerous syncs but it still does not put my contacts and calendar on my ipad. It successfully puts them on my iPhone but not my ipad.
View 8 RepliesUSB cable sync seems to work fine - contacts, music, videos, apps, etc on both my Imac at home and PC at work. The weird thing is that in my ipad calendar, after a sync with my PC, all appointments are 11 hours earlier!!! My Iphone syncs well with both Imac and PC. Basically, I keep things (sync) segregated - personal content from Imac and work stuff from PC. Does anyone have any tips. I am willing to try cleaning the slate with my ipad to start again from scratch, but just wanted to check with you all.
View 3 RepliesI have got a PC running Windows Vista with Outlook 2007 and an iPad. I am trying to sync my contacts and calendar to my iPad but when I try through iTunes (9.2), the Info tab doesn't show the sub-folders that my contacts are in (called Alison's Contacts) and when I move them to the main Contacts folder, it doesn't see them there either.
Calendar is pretty much the same; all calendar entries are in the main Calendar (not a sub-folder) and still don't sync!
It appears simply to just not see the source location despite the correct boxes being ticked in iTunes.
I have previously struggled with Windows Contacts and Calendar so went and bought Outlook 2007 and am getting very frustrated. I have tried the Apple support site and have followed various suggestions including de-activating and then deleting the Outlook Hotmail Connector.

I am considering purchasing an Ipad, but I will remain a PC user. I have a PC laptop for work, and I use that at home. So, my many questions pertain to using an ipad with a pc. Here they are:
1) Can I sync mail, calendar with outlook? I currently sync outlook calendar with google calendar and this works just fine. But I would like to have a calendar on the ipad without having access to the internet
2) "Things" looks terrific as a To Do list, but can I sync that with outlook, remember the milk, or some other To Do list. Again, I would like to have a to do list even when I do not have access to wifi.
I sync my Calendar, Contacts & Notes from Outlook 2003 through iTunes to my iPad and iPod. I want to quit using Outlook.I am starting to use Evernote for my notes so it's just calendar and contacts.I'd also like to use my calendar and contacts off-line with my PC which I can do with Outlook. And is iTunes my only way to sync my iPad & iPod?
View 3 RepliesI just got my iPad and cant figure out how to sync the calendar back to outlook, it picks up info from outlook calendar but does not transfer it back. I have been hunting a solution but i cant seem to crack it. I have opened up an exchange address etc but no joy there either.

View 2 RepliesI do not know if it is related to icloud but when I sync now I get duplicates in the calendar on my different devices. Ipod, IPAd1 and IPad 2.I also would like my dedvice to sync my contacts and calendar from Outlook on my PC as prime feeder, it does not work too well.

I subscribed to iCloud a few weeks ago and since then my calendar from Outlook 2003 (on XP Pro) will not sync to my iPad nor will new events created on the iPad sync to Outlook. I use a cable between my iPad and PC. Contacts work fine both ways. I have not used my iCloud and am not signed in to it. iCloud may or may not be the problem, but issues did start around that time.
I spoke to Apple telephone support for two hours and the genius bar without success and have researched online too.
