IPhone 4S Won't Play Music From Internal Speaker

Jun 24, 2012

My iPhone 4S is having an issue with the internal speaker. Originally, I was able to play music from iTunes, Pandora, videos, etc. w/out having headphones or an external speaker system connected to the audio input. Now, the phone isn't playing back sound from the internal speaker, unless I have headphones/speaker connected. Keyboard clicks and text message alerts are also not coming through, even though that option is turned on. The Ring/Silent button is on, the volume is on high, and I've also restarted the phone a few times. The only way I've got the internal speaker to play w/out having an external speaker system connected to the audio input is if I test different ringers; then it will playback, but not for any other audio format (videos, songs, keyboard clicks, etc.)

Can't Play IPhone Purchased Music ?

May 13, 2012

I have purchased a good amount of music on my iPhone and transfered it to my computer through iTunes. Now that the music is there and I have loaded it onto my iPad I can see the songs but they won't play. The only things I can play are items I either purchased on my iPad or ripped from CDs. They used to work on my old iPad and when I go to The iTunes store on the iPad it doesn't show that they need to be downloaded again. I have already restored the iPad like new and I am completely out of ideas.

Play Music Stored On A NAS-drive Through Iphone?

Jun 11, 2012

How do I play music stored on a NAS-drive through IPad/Iphone? I have a lot of music stored on my NAS-drive and am a new IPad user. On my laptop, playing the music stored on the NAS through ITunes was of course easy: just select in the "add folder" the appropriate folder in your network drive and ITunes does the rest, the music can be kept on your NAS and you can listen your cherished albums. How can I do the same on my IPad? I tried syncing but it's not working. If I try to sync with my laptop, it copies a playlist but not the music, since that is not stored on my laptop but on the NAS-drive.

Internal Webpage Works On Iphone But Not It?

May 13, 2011

I have both my work Iphone and Ipad connected to works Wifi. I am able to access our internally hosted Intranet page on my Iphone but not on my Ipad.

The IPhone loads the page immidialty but the ipad adds 'www.' to the beginig of the URL and add '.com' to the end and just says server not availalable.

I am able to access other browser based services on the IPad. I have checked the wifi setting and they are exactly the same on both devices.

I have tried the full URL of our intranet page on the Ipad rather than just the DNS alias. - to no avail.

Getting Music From Only Left Speaker?

May 24, 2011

I hooked up some Logitech external speakers I use with a Macbook to my iPad 2 and noticed music only went to the left speaker. I know the speakers are fine. My ear buds play in stereo when connected to the iPad.

The jacks look identical in size but my earbuds have three black stripes on it to only two for the Logitech speakers.

why I would not get stereo to external speakers?

IPad 4 :: Cracking Sound From Speaker When Music Part Contains High Frequencies

Mar 15, 2013

I recently bought an iPad 4 Wifi 32GB (black version). I have used it for like a month and a half now and I experienced some issues with my iPad. In short, I have two problems:

Problem 1 : I recently downloaded the app called "iDJ2GO". It's a dj app where you can mix music. This app also contains an equalizer with three options: bass - mid - treble.

When I was playing music (electro house) I turned down the mid button. Besides the song it was playing, I also heard a crackling sound. (it's difficult to describe). Then I turned the mid button up again and the crackling sound was gone. I don't think the speaker is blown up because the volume was only as high as 50%. The sound wasn't very loud.

When I play music from the music library I hear a cracking sound. This is especially noticable when the music part contains high frequencies. I just think the sound of the speaker isn't as good as it used to be. Normally an Ipad would sound clearly when it plays high frequencies.

Problem 2 : My iPad speaker makes static noise when pause the music. (it disappears after about 10 seconds). It isn't loud and you can only hear it when you put your ear in front of the speaker. The static noise als appears when I play music and turn the volume down to 0.

Maybe me speaker must be replaced. And I already did the 10 seconds reset with the home button and sleep button.

My questions are:

1) Do you think it's normal? (I don't think it's normal).

2) Have you experienced the same problems with your iPad?

3) Do these problems fall under warranty?
