IPad :: Want To See It On PC Without Disconnecting
Jun 29, 2014
I take a picture on my ipad with it connected to my PC, want to see it on my PC without disconnecting.I use my ipad as a camera connected to my PC. With my personal Ipad, I take a picture, can edit, and can see teh edited picture file in Windows Explorer on my WIn 7 PC.
I bought a newer Ipad for the office application we have, and with the Ipad connected to the PC, if I take a new picture, I have to disconnect teh ipad, and reconnect before the Win 7 PC will see that there is a new picture in the Ipad picture folder.
I use and iPad 2 attached to a projector for presentations. The problem I have is that the VGA cable keeps disconnecting itself from the iPad with very little effort. Now, I can always "tape" it together or some other barbaric solution like that. But is there something more elegant? Some kind of adapter perhaps?
I have 2 iPad 2's and they are both having trouble staying connected to wifi. It hasn't always been like this but I don't recall when it started. My iPad is updated with the latest upgrade but the other one still needs to get the last upgrade so i doubt the upgrade is issue her. I tried to reset network setting, take off the auto brightness and so on. Oh, and by the ways all our other apple and non apple devices work perfectly with the wifi, so it's only our iPads.
IPad 2 :: WiFi Keeps Disconnecting Every Now And Then?
Jan 30, 2012
My wifi gets disconnected every now and then. I have hard reset a few times, sometimes is ok sometimes it's not. When I went into settings, the wifi options got blurred out, and on the left it says wifi (n/a).
Recently bought a iPad 2 after having the original for 6 months. I have had trouble with both of them losing connection with my dsl. It's not my Dsl because my laptop never looses connection. I have no idea about what my settings should be.
In my ipad3, I have problems connecting then disconnecting within 2 minutes after connection. The device is 3 yards away from me and I experience the same problem with Skype, Face time, google talk and Safari. My Network router is Zyxel P-660HN-F1Z with latest available Firmware Version: 3.70(BJI.8)F0. The 2nd generation ipod I have with me does not have any problems. It is the ipad3. I have tried updating the firmware of the router and it is working the same regardless of what I do. I have tested the wireless access point with laptop, Ipod and wifi phone and no problems. Only it is a problem with Ipad 3.
General :: IPad Keeps Disconnecting From WiFi Router
Mar 26, 2013
My ipad connects perfectly well to my wifi router but recently it has started to disconnect from it after an hour or so and connect to my neighbour's, which is not security protected.
Is there any way I can stop this happening? The same thing seems to be happening to my iPhone as well, so I suspect that it's a router issue - I just don't know how to solve it.

IPad Mini :: WiFi Keeps Disconnecting And Connecting While Watching TV
Sep 3, 2014
Why does my iPad mini keep disconnecting from the wifi? It was working yesterday and now it won't. I'll be using the internet or watching tv and it will disconnect.
I have a iPad Wi-Fi connection problem. All the "fixes" seem to point to changing router configuration or changing to a different router. That's an option if its YOUR router...but how about when your traveling as I was over the weekend. When your in your hotel and the Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting...OS
When your iPad displays the screen to re enter your network security key, do not enter the key, instead, press the iPad's power button until the iPad displays "Slide To Power Off". Then touch the "Cancel" button on the bottom of the screen, and the iPad will reconnect to your network. This is NOT a fix but a simple workaround until Apple finds a software fix.
I know this has been asked before, but nothing appears to have been answered for my particular problem.
So I have a 64Gb Wifi (not 3G) Ipad & up until about a week or so I've used it fine with only a minor problem with the loss of internet connection.
About 2 days ago I had a problem that although I was connected to my wifi router I could not get access to the internet. My new ipod touch, iphone 4, laptop & PS3 all use wifi & all worked perfectly fine. A few hours later my Ipad managed to connect to the internet.
Unfortunately now I keep getting disconnected. I'm talking every minute! I connect - open Safari - enter a web address & search - Disconnects. It asks to reconnect to my router & is unable to. I go to settings & connect, straight away it connects fine. I go back to web site load one page. Disconnects!!
So I checked here & downloaded the latest firmware for my Netgear DGN35010 router (v25), I updated ipad software & I have no security passcode on my router.
As you can imagine, this is getting annoying. I havent tried another router, but seeing as everything else appears to work on mine fine I got to think it's the Ipad problem.
Any ideas?
Does anyone from Apple tech support ever visit these forums to look into problems with their products?
Information: MB294LL Other OS Version 3.2.2 (7B500)
I've had my iPad for almost three months. It is a 64gb 3G model. It has recently been disconnecting from my WiFi router (apple airport extreme), although it doesn't lose the key, within 5-10 seconds, the screen sort of dims and a box pops up in the middle of what ever I'm doing that says "Connecting..." and within a few seconds it's back on. I notice that the wireless icon in the upper left corner disappears and reappears.
My other computers and iPhone don't seem to have this problem. This has already happen twice while typing this much on the iPad.
Is anyone else having this problem, are there any suggestions, or could this be a hardware issue?
Also, I'm sitting in the same room as the wireless router, and this problem only seems to have cropped up since I updated the firmware to 3.2.2.
I am having a problem with staying connected to my home wifi. It is the standard Verizon Fios actiontec router, secured with wpa2 psk security.
When I lock my iPad or iPod touch, the wifi connected icon is still visible, but when I unlock it, it seems to lose the connection. The only way to get it back is to turn the wifi off and back on.
The odd thing is, it happens on my sisters iPod touch running 4.1 as well. Both my iPad and my iPod touch are running 4.3.5.
I have another wpa2 psk secured network at my beach house, and it stays connected to that fine.
